Stick with traditional container

We love Vitamix blenders BUT would NOT recommend the low profile containers. Although its easier to clean, f
ood items shoot to the side and are very difficult for the blade to reach and blend without a significant amount of liquid. Thus, hummus, thick smoothies, smaller amounts, etc. are not blended well. Stick with the traditional container.

We are so glad to hear that you love your Vitamix! The low profile 64oz container does require more ingredients than the classic 64oz container due to the wider base. This does make it tricky to blend smaller batches in your low profile container. When using this container, we recommend using at least 3-4 cups of ingredients in order to cover the blades and prevent splashing.

What about the 32 oz container ?

I love my Vitamix but I wonder if you don’t intend to have a 32 oz container. I have the little ones for really small portion but I’d love a 32 oz container since I make drinks and food for myself only.

Great value for the price!

I bought my vitamix in a bundle which was a great value for the price. It came with the 20 oz cup starter kit, dry container and other accessories. It has made life earsier in kitchen.

I bought my vitamix about a month now and i am still shocked at all it can do. I got it mainly to make smoothies and to get a more consistent blend for my smoothies and believe me it does that. I am quite please with my purchase. The other blenders I bought in t he past does not even come close to my vitamix and the color matches my kitchen great purchases.

Great Blend!

This is a great blender. I really love the timer feature as amount of time for a blend is importnant. The container is large but single serve smoothies are still possible. Just remmember to buy the blender for the machine not the container since the container can be switched. Other wise I find it to be a great blender that gives me silky smooth smoothies!!
