I just received it today, I couldn't wait to get it out of it's box and washed! Made my first Smoothie for my hubby & I...2 baskets of strawberries, 1 grapefruit & 1 banana...YUMMY! I thought it was very easy to use, I didn't think it was loud at all and it's even easier to clean than I thought it would be...so much better than the juicer it's replacing and NO MORE WASTE of fruits & veggies and now I can do them all instead of all the limitations.

I had another name brand blender for years, and though it worked just fine I wanted to upgrade and vitamix was the first on my list. I went with this model, ascent a2300 because it seemed like the best features for the cost. Love how easy it is to use. I can use one hand and don’t have to worry about finicky container or lid locks. It’s much quieter than my previous blender too and does a much better job at producing smooth consistency. Really happy with it so far!
There's no question that vitamix still makes the best blenders on the market. The downside is additional accessories are way way overpriced. But they know you will pay it. The average person does not need all the features of their top of the line blenders. For most people this A2300 will do just fine. The app is somewhat unnecessary, unless you want to be able to start a blend cycle on something like a smoothie or soup, and walk away from it entirely to go do something else. For most tasks where you are remaining in the kitchen, you wont use the app because it's more work than rotating a dial and hitting the start button. I do absolutely love that it starts a count up timer when I start it. The removable rubber mat at the base of the container is super useful for any cleanup. I just wish accessories weren't so expensive, but it is a premium product.
For just about anything that you are cooking, you can find a way to simplify the prep with your vitamix. I've been very impressed with the stove-free soup recipes, and was blown away at how hot it can make liquid after blending for 5 or 6 minutes.

Best investment ever. I have wasted so much money on crappy blenders, this bad boy will blend anything. Let your imagination run wild, I use it almost daily fir everything from soups to protein balls

It’s got some power!! Definitely worth the money and it can replace multiple kitchen appliances. My only critique is the pitcher. I don’t like the design of the pitcher. The way the four corner protrude into the canister make sit difficult to scrape out the last remaining contents.
