The A2300 is my 2nd Vitamin blender. I had a 5200 for 10 years and it was the most amazing blender ever. I have high hopes for blender #2 ~ so far it has been fantastic. The only thing I will have to get used to is the clear plastic lid as opposed to the flexible black rubber one. I also purchased a stainless steel blender. So far, both blenders have performed both powerfully & flawlessly! A great perk is a 10 year warranty. I would have purchased a 5200 with it's 7-year warranty, if the 2300 hadn't had a 10 year warranty.
We've had an older Vitamix for over fifteen years. I decided to upgrade to the A2300 to get the ten year warranty, so maybe it will outlast me. I made our first smoothies this morning, and the difference was noticeable. No need for tamping or stirring and only fifteen seconds. Glad we bought it.
This is the first Vitamix I have ever owned and I am so impressed! I used to avoid using my old blender because it never blended things all the way. When it finally broke, I had so many friends tell me to upgrade to the Vitamix. I am so glad I listened and now I use my blender daily! Breakfast is quick and easy with the 16 oz containers for a protein shake. I can make simple syrup with the Aer Disk container. We made homemade hummus that was amazing, will never have to buy it from the store again! Overall I am thrilled with this blender!
I bought my ascent series blender after a lot of research due to its extra features that seemed useful. The blender works well, but the container is somewhat big and doesn’t do a great job blending smaller amounts due to the width of the blender base (wide) and often requires (no matter the fill) the use of the tamper. I have compared this to an e-series blender that someone I know owns and the more narrow base pushes the food towards the blades better and therefore almost blends better with much less tamper use despite being lesser powered. I wish there was a more narrow base for this blender. Otherwise great blender.
