Bought this for MacBook Pro 2017 because of the usb-c connection. It doesn’t work well and flickers. HDMI connection doesn’t display 4K and lower resolutions cuts off.

It is a great monitor but it was difficult to get the stand to click onto the monitor and once it does it is flimsy.

USB-C compatible monitors are few and far between, and 5k monitors are around $1K! You could get an iPhone X for that, or food for two months... This is a great monitor with a snazzy design that looks great. I don't even miss the extra 1000 pixels between 4 and 5k.
