I purchased this item to help with my locked up shoulders and a pinched nerve in my neck. The size is perfect. The vibrations feel wonderful. If I could change or adjust one thing, I would wish there was an option to keep the vibration on. It is quite difficult to hold down the vibration button while it is behind me on my shoulders.
I use this to help with shoulder pain and back pain. Even without the vibration, it's a great relief and helps realign my body & press on areas that hurt. It's so portable that I can travel with it and it's cheap enough to have one for me and one for my husband.
I'm a chef, and have recently been struggling with a sore neck from constantly looking down while I work. After a particularly painful day at work, I went to visit a friend on the way home who had just been in a motorcycle accident. She took one look at me and handed me her Atlas node massager. Within 5 minutes my pain had subsided, and my range of motion was infinitely improved. Within six minutes, I was online ordering one for my myself!! I've since brought it to work, and turned my entire staff onto this magic vibrating sphere!!!!
It may not be as powerful as Hyperice, but the Atlas certainly has enough vibration to really help relax muscles. And the size is perfect size for getting deeply into knots, Because of the spikes it's useful even without vibration. And the price is right, right, right!
I just bought this wonderful small "vibrating" small ball to use as a foot massager. I have a larger half ball from Homedics that I have had for years that I loved and bought this ball as a complement to that one. I think it is going to be great especially when you get a cramp in your foot!
This works great but you need to know to take off the weird blue plastic strip in order to make the vibration mode stay on. No one tells you to do that, but remove it for this thing to work properly. It's great though.
This vibrating massager has an ON/ OFF button, but you must HOLD the button ON to get it to vibrate. Have you ever tried holding an ON button while holding a vibrating massage ball? There is no way to roll it or move it or lean against it to massage while holding the button..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear this. Please Twist the massager halves in opposite directions to access the internal battery compartment. Remove and dispose of the small plastic tab. Press the power button to activate the massager. With plastic tab removed, massager will continue to run without holding down the power button. If this does not resolve the issue, please return the product to the place of purchase or contact Consumer Relations at 1-800-466-3342 Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST for assistance.
