I love suitcases with 2 compartments. I just wonder why every manufacturer puts the elastic straps that hold clothing in place on the same side as the handle. The telescoping handle makes wrinkles in clothes. The compartment without the handle has a nice flat bottom, but no straps to keep clothes in place. Straps need to be on other side, so I didn't give all stars. Otherwise it is great. It holds a lot and is not too deep to fit under a bed on a cruise ship, which is sometimes the problem with larger suitcases

Unlocking the first time was very problematic

The combination lock was locked when it arrived. THERE WERE NO AVAILABLE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO UNLOCK THE SUITCASE. In trying to figure out how to work it, I may have reset the combination accidentally. Now I believe my only option is to bring the suitcase to a service center. This is obnoxious. Notably, from the other suitcase I bought, which is identical, I found instructions on working the lock INSIDE THE SUITCASE. How much sense does that make?

We used this piece of luggage for a trip that involved 21 flights. We had to pack five weeks of clothing using this suitcase and a backpack. Since that trip it has been used for three trips we are still extremely happy with it. Highly recommend it.

Very light weight, which is a plus for us older travelers, particularly for train travel.
