NOT HAPPY

I bought this 16 months ago. I changed the filters today (third set of filters) and now the fan is not working. This is not a cheap item and neither are the filters. I would expect it to last a lot longer but NO! Now I am stuck with brand new filters and a machine that doesn't work. Never again.

Excellent Product

I purchased this product because my house is heated with a hot water boiler thus no air vents or furnace filters. My second floor has always been a dust problem and although Rowenta hasn't curried the problem 100% it has significantly improved breathing and dust control by at least 90%. Believe me this is a significant improvement. The purifier works extremely quiet as stared and controls air quality on the second floor approximately 750 sq. ft. Worth the expense and upgrade in size.

Good Clean AIR!

Since I have COPD, this product has been a godsend. So glad to have gotten it to review from Viewpoints. It's quiet - white noise doesn't interfere with media or conversation. I like that the light can be set to high, low, or turned off entirely. Suggest that if it runs on purple (or Egads! red!) consistently that the first filter should be checked and cleaned more often than the recommended every two weeks - we have cats, so ours picks up hair and dander. The Rowenta has replaced an ionizer which did okay, but nothing as compared to this purifier. I would recommend it, especially to folks with breathing issues like mine.

Great Addition to our Home

We have enjoyed trying out this purifier from Viewpoints in my son's bedroom. It's easy to set up and the controls are intuitive to use. I am impressed with how quiet it is, especially in night mode. We have the purifier set up in a corner near the head of my son's bed and he has never commented about the sound. I believe there is less dust settling on his furniture since we have been using it. When it arrived, I was surprised at the size of the box but find the purifier to not take up too much space while being very efficient. I recommend this product.

Super Quiet, Easy Set-up, Allergen Help Pending

The Rowenta Intense Pure Air been set up for approximately 12 days in my house in various locations. I wanted to really test it out for both our carpeted basement, and the hardwood and non-carpeted areas of the rest of the house. We have never owned an air purifier, but my husband and I, as well as one of our children have mild seasonal allergies, so we thought this was worth a try to see if it helped. We also have pets, including an asthmatic cat and I was really curious to see if this product might help him too.

Made Us Both Sick

I bought two of these air purifiers for my home. One for myself and one for my son. Within weeks of using them, we both became very ill with sore throats and terrible sinus issues. It took a while to figure out that the problem was the air purifiers. Once we stopped using them, the symptoms finally went away. I wasted so much money on these.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So awesome, I bought 2!

I needed a air purifier because I live in a log cabin. Cabins are not really air tight, so lots of dust, plus we have a dog, live in a area that is dusty, and have a wood stove. All that means the dust piles up FAST!

I love how it self adjust for the contaminates in the air. You can tell when the furnace kicks on and when the dog comes in the room. I'm sleeping much better at night.
