BUILT NEW HOME AND WE INSTALLED ALL BOSCH APPLIANCES. WE LOVE THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF EACH. WOULD RECOMMEND EACH APPLIANCE.

This produst is a nice looking addition to any kitchen. The only drawback is that the two displays color and brightness do not match perfectly.

Broke again

first review for this product but should have wrote something just a few years ago. we've had our microwave/ove combo for about 5 years now and this will be the microwaves 4th repair. This time we are not covered so no idea the costs to repair but once again the microwave is arching when i've updated the cover plate and its spotless. We've once before had new magnatrometer changed so it seems to possibly be that again. And if it is the cost to repair will be most likely be similar to buying new one. If i had to do over again i would definitely not purchase this unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this oven for over four years now and it has been very reliable. We use the main oven quite a bit for baking and roasting. What we love the most is the efficiency. Our old oven, which was a different brand, was not sealed well, so even with the door closed, it leaked heat. This created two problems, one it wasted energy (and money) and two, our kitchen got very hot when we used it. We don't have this problem with the Bosch. When we open the door, it is super hot on the inside, but we barely feel it on the outside. The temperature setting is very reliable because it is sealed so well, which is important for recipes. The built in thermometer is a a nice feature and the self cleaning also works very well. The only reason I gave this product four stars is because we've had some small problems with the Speed Oven. On the one hand the Speed Oven is the best invention ever, because it is a smaller oven AND a microwave. It's a huge time and energy saver (less time to heat and energy used) and we love using it as an alternative to the big oven; on the other hand, we've had issues with an on board fuse. We've had to have an appliance company out three times to look at it. They've replaced the fuse once. The main oven will work, but the Speed Oven shuts down. This is an issue Bosch should look at when engineering the Speed Oven. The last thing I'll note, which is not factored into the star rating, is that the serial numbering system is different then I'm used to, so strangely, one of my biggest complaints is the difficulty I had finding the right number to register the product! Overall a great oven.
