To coin a phrase. The best or nothing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Started with replacing name brand dishwasher with Bosch 800 series. 10 out of 10 on cleaning and ease of use. Ended up replacing oven with microwave oven combo. Resulting in adding Bosch 5 burner cooktop. Spent the $$ on Bosch if one want performance and piece of mind.

I like it but ...

Bought this unit three years ago, and am mostly happy with it. However, I was disappointed that the lower overpn light burnt out in less than 6 months (I've had cheaper ovens with light bulbs that lasted for years). More concerning is that in just over two years, the display light panel on the microwave started dying, so that we can barely make out the timer and temperature settings, and can't see the microwave modes at all. I have no idea how much it will cost to replace it, but I'm guessing it's expensive. Another area of concern is that in the last few months, the microwave turntable goes through periods of not turning at all.
All of the above mentioned issues are items that were never a problem with our previous, far less expensive appliances.

Amazing Look & Performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased all Bosch appliances for home I'm currently remodeling for resale. Now I want to keep the house! The Bosch oven/microwave combo is not only great to look at it has the highest performance factors I ever experienced and I've barely used it. (The wrapper is still on the handles.) From here on out it's going to all Bosch appliances for me.

Good Oven, But Needs Better Engineering

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this microwave/oven combination in January and had it installed in February. It worked very well for many months until the thermostat snapped off. I came to learn that the stunning stainless steel knob is held in place by a plastic stem. I would have expected sturdier material from a quality company like Bosch. A local Bosch-authorized repairman fixed it just in time for Thanksgiving. In summary, good oven, poor design.

Combo Microwave + Electric Oven

I am highly satisfied so far (3 weeks) with our combination electric wall oven and microwave. It is flush mounted with cabinets and looks great. The knobs and buttons are easy to use. The convection setting on the oven has allowed us to cook faster and at lower temperatures (win/win): chicken is cooked browner outside and more moist inside. We're very glad we got this oven! The microwave has a +30 seconds button which makes reheating very easy.
