Best bread making oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am just restarting sourdough bread making and the proof setting on the oven is perfect to get a good rise and works just as well when I am only feeding the starter. This oven cooks evenly and I get the browning of the tops of my casseroles perfect every time with convection baking. Still haven't had an opportunity to make cookies in the oven.

Oven Microwave Combination

It is nice to have the multiple choices for convection as well as the normal oven functions. The microwave is absolutely the best we've had and we use it multiple times daily.

I love that both units are combined to make a sleek look. The knobs are so nice and it works great. The microwave is easy to operate and has great features. The lighting in the oven is fastastic and I love the way that it gently turns on. Great buy at a fair pricepoint for the BOSCH name.

Absolutely Do Not

This came with our house when we bought it brand new 3 years ago. We have barely breached 3 years and it no longer turns on (microwave or oven). Absolutely ridiculous for this price point, and we have no choice but to get another one because of the custom built in, but I have zero confidence in this brand now.

Oven is mostly good but the microwave is annoying!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It's a good thing I'm tall. Pulling hot things over a pull down door could be tricky otherwise.
I find this unit just ok. Like many other people commented, the oven timer develops a life of its own when you try to use it. It's so annoying that I've just stopped using it. Basically, you can have 5 minutes or 57 minutes with only one or two extra presses of the button. Very annoying and makes absolutely no sense. Also, the timer sound is very very quiet, and the fan on the microwave will continue after the ping, so you think it's still doing its thing. Not the case!
The LED screen on the microwave is basically impossible to read, especially if there's any light on it. The oven seems to cook well, thank goodness. For the first few weeks we used it, the microwave would just stop working and it would tell us to call some 1-800 number. Weird but ok...

Repair needed during the first three months!

A fuse blew on the microwave three months after it was installed.
Both the oven and microwave had to be removed from the wall to install the fuse. Forturnately it was covered by the warranty but it is an expensive repair. After using the microwave for a few months, I would have preferred a side opening micro rather than a pull down. Side opening is easier for me to use.
