Our first speed oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are remodeling our kitchen and after reading reviews we went with a suite of Bosch appliances. We haven't used the speed oven yet but we love the size and the appearance. We also got their side door full size oven which is the perfect design.

Not worth it for a good cooking experience

I put this in to a purpose built STR for our guests. I'm glad we also have a great bbq for an option as this does eventually will heat up to 350 F but it is labourously slow and not great for our guests who want to breakout that frozen pizza or baked appetizer.
The bbq is a much more effective option. It was a good aesthetic solution but not a great option as standard oven might offer. BTU's matter!!

BOSCH Speed Oven

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Purchased in 2021, is well designed and has useful programs and functions. But also 2 major problems: The oven vents through openings below the door, so any finished surfaces below can be damaged by high exhaust heat. Also, the dispay has dimmed over time to the point it is almost unreadable under normal light conditions. I had registered the oven with Bosch, and was disappointed that I never heard that this was a known problem and could be remedied by BOSCH within a limited window after purchase.

Speed Oven

2 years in and I'm considering replacing it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't think I've ever had an appliance that I've hated more than this oven. Some of the design aspects are simply inconcievable. I've burned my hand on the element numerous times because it isn't recessed into the upper part of the oven, and I have no idea why they would design an oven where the shelves don't pull out. The control panel is also unintuitive. You could do much better for the price.

Does not cook very fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried to pop a 1.2 oz bag of popcorn on the popcorn setting. It took about 3 tries on the over 2 oz setting to complete popping. Water took forever to boil. I was not using the ceramic plate, which the instructions say to use. I will try that and hope for better results
