I have bought 2 of these carts in the past 5 months and have had no issues with the quality. My last purchase was a major fail. Something went serious wrong with the final product coating. It's not rusted but it's not finished. I can't give this as a gift, it looks horrible.

My child loves to play with baskets, he actually has a plastic one of his own. This thing, however, is so dangerous for little ones!! We have had one chip a tooth and another somehow flipped over the cart and hurt their lower abdomen. So, while the idea and product are cute....it is a big no from me.

My little boy absolutely loved this cart but unfortunately the metal plate on one of the front wheels became loose and all the small silver balls came out, the cart no longer works. It's such a shame as it's such a lovely toy.. I was so disappointed as I've never had any issues with Melissa & Doug toys before. It's very sturdy and good quality apart from the wheel...I now have a very upset 3 year old!
