Incredible quality

My son received these for his first birthday from my mom. I cook at home, and my son has always been interested in being in the kitchen, sometimes insisting on helping. I was very, very surprised of the quality of this set when I opened it for him. The pots/pans are about 1/2 an inch thick, and could probably withstand a car on top of them without straining. I haven't noticed any paint chipping at all, and my son drops these on the tile floor pretty often. This is a truly high quality product that is very easily worth the price. My wife told me that M&D were a "good" brand, and as such I assumed that the set was upwards of $75 based on the quality. I didn't know the actual price until I came to write this review.

My 2 year old granddaughter and 4 year old grandson love these pots. They use them with the M&D play kitchen along with the M&D wooden food items. The pots are well made and stand up well to a 2yr old's abuse. They are big enough that the kids will be able to use them for years and study enough so they should hold up. The lids fit well and are easy to take on/off. Granddaughter would like a lid for the frying pan too though.

These are great quality. I prefer wood over plastic. The only drawback is that the paint chips off of the wood whereas molded plastic wouldn't do that. Not a big deal for the quality.
