We love these trains, we have purchased other brands and they cannot compare to Melissa And Doug trains. The magnetic features are wonderful. Easy for young children to play with.
Pros: Easy Assembly, Easy to use, Entertaining, Fun, Long Lasting, Well made

This train is cute and it has a lot of track to keep it growing so it will be played with for a long time. The only negative is the cars are supposed to stay together with magnets but they are so weak they keep falling apart.

Grandson has the track. Putting it together like the picture and the instructions - each had to be modified. Would not make a smooth track because it had to bend so tight. Also, one of the connections on the Y piece is in too far and you have to force it into the connection. Overall, we were not pleased with the quality. We have the original full train set and have noticed that the train easily runs off the track because the grooves in the track are not deep enough to hold it in.

Great addition to our train sets!

we bought this addition to our train set for our 4 year olds b-day... he loves the swivel bridge and tunnel! i was worried the support blocks would fall easily but even without them, the bridge is solid. my only recommendation is that these sets should include male-male pieces (with 2 dowels) so that we can attach to existing sets we have... or at least suggest we need to buy these pieces separately because we also bought the mountain (4 pieces) and we can,t connect so i had to place an extra order for male-male connectors.
Pros: Easy Assembly
Cons: Need Male-male Connector

My son received this from Santa this past Christmas, he loves it!!! My son is 7 years old and he absolutely adores it, I didn't know he would love it as much as does. He wakes up in the morning and builds a track and he plays with it when he comes home from school, first thing. It's well built and sturdy, great price.

My grandson loved it! But the elevated bridge didn't work as well as it should have. The wooden pieces didn't fit tightly enough. Design needed more supports. Probably a simpler version would have been better. So we just didn't use the bridge version. Could have saved money.
