Exactly what we were looking for. We purchased one of these sets for our first grandchild and now the second one for our second grandchild. This train set entertained our grandchildren for hours. Excellent service. Would recommend this product to our friends, family and associates.

This is a perfect beginner train set. It will make your children use their imaginations and keep them entertained for hours at a time. Also, you can build upon this "starter" set with other tracks, trains, and dozens of other street accessories. I have found Melissa & Doug items to be so durable that they can be passed down for years and years to come.

The tracks are great, a perfect fit with another popular brand. Kiddo loves the little stopper piece and the bridge. The magnets on the train and coal car a noticeably weaker than our other set. But that's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.
