Connected HP 27er Monitors will not Auto-Sleep

Works great, but Auto-Sleep does not work with HP 27er monitors. Upon loss of video input, monitors try to sleep, but never do. After five seconds the monitor's backlight comes on again and on screen display gives a message that video signal not found...going to sleep........same thing every five seconds, continues forever, until I have to manually turn off monitor. Tested HP 27 er monitor with straight MiniDP to HDMI adapter connected to computer......no problem. Tested with HP 27f monitor and no problem. MSTMDP123HD will not let HP 27 er monitors sleep. All other functionality is great. Recommend this product for almost perfect, elegant solution for driving 3 monitors (with Intel HD4600 GPU, Windows 10). Perfect for HP 27f monitors. Don't expect any solutions from Intel, HP or Startech if you have HP 27er monitors.
