Easy way to link your devices to a home network without running wires...drilling holes.
Helps in situations where a wireless signal is not stable for streaming devices.
Be aware that the min-max speeds are theoretical but fortunately all you really need for streaming devices is around 50 mbs.

Great for Large Homes

We used to have complaints on most days from our tenants in our basement about WiFi issues. Our house is big and has thick walls in a lot of places, so this was understandable, but we weren't sure how to fix the wireless problems, as we had moved in recently and the previous owners of our home didn't have Ethernet installed. We were figuring out if getting Ethernet installed would be worth the cost and time, and we learned about powerline adapters. Two months or so after buying a pair of these, they've worked like a charm. We've even managed to connect the adapter in the basement to a router we bought 2 years ago that was sitting around in a drawer, so the whole floor now has much better WiFi access in addition to wireless access. Would certainly recommend to anyone who is having WiFi trouble on certain floors.

Easy to use, just need to plugin and connect to the modern by using the match wire. Just a second, it could be connected successfully. Very nice service experience, quickly pick up in the nearest store and the service representative were also friendly and always willing to help. Thanks Bestbuy!

Should have done a little more Googling before my purchase. If you're using a business internet line or something and can survive getting 5-10% your actual speed, go nuts, otherwise, this is basically useless. Even after trying multiple cables and outlets, my speed was still abysmal. I'd use it only as a last resort.

Bought this to get interwebs in my detached garage. Was sick of hotspotting on my phone, and didn't want to run a cat5 cable to the garage. Popped one of these in the house, hooked it up to the router, and put the other in the garage. Bought a cheap TP Link extender that had an access point mode and plugged the garage unit into that, and I have wifi capable of streaming 4k now! Very pleased with it's stability and performance. Couldn't be easier to use and setup.

Very easy to use, plug both in the same power outlet, press the necessary buttons in the instruction manual, once there connected, unplug and use wherever you want in the house. I used them on separate breakers, but for best results it's recommended to use on the same breaker. Also this CAN'T be used on a outlet jack with a surge protector, only ones without the surge protector

As they claim: "Plug-and-play functionality lets you set up this kit in minutes with no configuration"...100% correct. No problem to set up, sets up in seconds, That's the best part. It does give you a "wired" connection on your device. However, the good news ends there. I have a problem with WIFI reaching acceptable penetration on a second floor room, opposite and the furthest point from the room where my modem/router is located. This is a modern house, 25 years old. Too weak for TV streaming on some HD channels...drop, cycling or blank screens. My 2 G WIFI bounces around 150 to 230 Mb up there, too weak for consistent viewing, this "wired" device gives me 90 Mb...virtually useless. It is stable, as it is wired, but too weak to be of any use for me, worse than my WIFI. Too bad as I was so hopeful for an easy fix to my issue. Next I think I might get a ethernet switch and 200 feet of CAT8 cable and run it across the house through crawl spaces and inside walls. I don't know if I have the energy to do all that. Taking it back to BestBuy.

This thing will get you nowhere near 1gb speeds. On wifi I average 450mb, but once I hooked this thing up I was getting speeds of 35mb. I returned it promptly.
