Why no charge indicator???

I bought this for my toddler who just turned 3. I was afraid she'd be intimidated by an electronic gadget in her mouth, but to my surprise, she enjoys it and now looks forward to brushing her teeth twice a day. My only complaint is why isn't there a charging-indicator light to ensure it's actually being charged? Besides the fact that it works when turned on, I'm always skeptical whether it's actually being charged when left on the charger. I also own an adult Oral B electric toothbrush and, sure enough, there's an indicator to show it's being charged and even let's you know the progress with the blinking bars. I really wish this kid version had this same feature. It should be basic, in my opinion. Also, I wish the battery life were longer. I owned a Sonicare prior to switching to Oral B and I'm amazed at the drastic difference with the battery life. My Sonicare can go a month without being charged whereas my Oral B would start to show decrease in battery life just after 3 days of use!
Cons: Durability
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mold in toothbrush heads

Had been enjoying the app and love that it encourages my daughter to brush her teeth twice a day. But a very startling discovery has left me feeling incredibly disappointed. I noticed my daughter spitting out black dirt/mold when she would rinse, and shortly realized it was coming from the toothbrush head. I was confused since we separate the parts every night and I even dry the water out to the bottom with a pipe cleaner. But there is an additional space along the top as the person above illustrated. Gone through 3 toothbrush heads in 2 months and disgusted by this level of quality control from a leading company. This needs to be resolved.

I got 3 of these and never had any issues at all

I purchased 3 of these more than 18 months ago (2 for my daughters and one for myself). Never had any issues with any of them. Works as expected. I always leave it on its base to keep it fully charged. Whenever I go on a trip, the battery lasts for more than one week without having to recharge it. It sounds strange to me that no one had found this product to be any good. Our experience with it has been very good so far. Maybe you forgot to recharge it?? LOL!

I have purchased two of these rechargeable toothbrushes from my dentist for my 11 year old daughter. After 1 use the 1st toothbrush would not work. It was returned. The replacement again would not work after one use. The electrical outlet was checked in both instances and is fine. The charging stand is suspect. I will be returning the 2nd toothbrush to the dentist's office this afternoon for a full refund. Needless to say this has not been a good product experience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Waste of money!

This product quit working after the first use and because I had already thrown out packaging, I couldn't return. Either way, there's something wrong with the design seeing that others have the same problem.

Worst Purchase Ever

We bought 2 of these, we charged for 16 hours like the package indicated and my children used them once before bed, the next morning both tooth brushes were dead, nothing wrong with our outlets. Would not recommend these.
