Love the build quality, materials, and sound of this speaker. The on/off/pairing signal tones are crazy loud in my opinion, but that's the only complaint.

4 years and going strong!!!

I bought this 4 years ago, and used it extensively. The bamboo trim bit has fallen off, and the little rubber covering the connectors has also fallen, yet it still holds the charge for 4-5 hours, by far best sounding speaker I’ve had, and it works flawlessly to this day. This purchase was one of the best, and I am about to buy another chant mini :)

For small things that make amazing impact, from where i am from we say Ti kouto koup gro ziromon, which literally translates to 'little knife cuts big pumpkin.' My Marley Chant Mini has been rocking my socks since a bit more than 6 months now and by what i can see, it aint gonna leave me quite soon!

what about phone calls

I love it when I listen to music.
When I use it for phone calls, it sounds very quitly; even with the volume at maximum in the phone & in my ChantMini.
why?

Good sound but poor battery performance

I've had this speaker for almost a year now and while we're happy with the sound quality, the battery performance has deteriorated significantly over the year from when I first got it. Now we're lucky to get 3-4 hours of play out of it off a full charge (supposed to be six hours). The battery also depletes quickly when not in use, so we always have to remember to charge it the day we plan to use it. Because of the battery performance, I wouldn't recommend.
