Got this speaker for Father’s Day last year after having one of these at a sandals resort for a week. The sound and battery are fantastic, however the USB port was always a little tricky to charge. No the USB port basically appears to have be distorted internally and will not charge. Needs to have a better design and upgraded port. Anywhere that I can mail to have repaired? As I was reading reviews for the broken charging port, I figured to avoid that problem, I will use a magnetic micro USB cable, so won't have to jiggle the port. I hope this way the speaker will have a longer life than a few months. I hope I helped to some users wit this idea.

Great Speaker with One Specific Voice Prompt Issue

There seems to be a lot of people talking about the voice prompts that accompany this speaker. Most of these voice prompt are not a big deal. For example, when you're using the speaker on the go and the battery is almost drained, I have no problem with it telling me the battery is running low.
There is one exception to this though which makes no sense whatsoever to me. When you're speaker is plugged in and fully charged and you start to use it while it's still plugged in, it will tell you everyone once in a while that it's charging. Why? It's plugged in and thus it makes no sense whatsoever to inform me that it's charging.
That's the only one voice prompt that seems to be an issue to me. If that one was gone, this speaker would be perfect.

Charging Issue

I bought this about two years ago, but right away it had issues charging. If it was just in the right position it would charge, but now it's damaged altogether out of no where. I used this speaker religiously and am SO sad about this issue.
Any recommendations to go about fixing it?!

Returning due to the artificial speech prompts

Looks good, sounds good. But some artificial woman's voice TALKS all the time. "PAIRING" "CHARGING" "SPEAKER OFF". This stupid voice breaks into the music and spontaneously talks an hour after the music is off. It's repulsive. And it can't be turned off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sound is great and powerful. But, two problems as stated frim other users. Volume control is difficult. It seems for each touch in increase or lower volume it goes double step. The other is minor problem about the voice calls too loud Are you going to release an updated firmware to be done via usb? And updates via usb are possible? Thank you
