speaker has great sound but stopped charging after just a couple of months and hardly any use. replacement chargers are expensive.

Had two, both have charging issue

I have had two of these and both stopped charging, one within the first day and the replacement died after 40 days.
no damage on the USB port, so it must be cheap electronics inside as the charger itself works. Will go for JBL now.

DO NOT BUY!

Bought one of these yesterday because of the huge discount, right out of the box it would not charge. After being plugged in for 7 hours, it still indicated it was charging, then the light started to blink as if it was dying. Exchanged it for a new one today, right out of the box it won't even connect to power. The charging indicator just flashes irratically. Even tried a different cord and a different charger, same issue. Instead of a huge discount, these should be pulled from store shelves. I wish zero stars were an option. I will never buy another House of Marley product again.

Great speaker overall, volume adjustments needed

Right away, love the design; it's easy to pick up and move around my home.
The voice of the interface is clear, but it's a bit loud and there's no way to adjust its volume.
Speaking of volume, personally, I wish there was more flexibility with the volume level. When I adjust the slider on my phone, for instance, I can clearly tell that the volume levels only change at specific thresholds; and are not as fluid as I was expecting. That, and the sound quality is ever so slightly muffled, but not too much of an issue.
Charges well, and in a reasonable amount of time.
I've had no connectivity issues with either the power or the Bluetooth so far.
On the whole, I am satisfied with this product.

This speaker packs a punch. I have been using the EU Boom, so this produces a much richer sound. It can fill a room, even at low level, better than the boom.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Muddy sound, annoying voice prompts

The sound is heavy tuned to bass and just sounds like mud at low to medium volume. The Bluetooth “voice” is twice as loud as the music and pipes up every time you do anything. It can not be disabled. The build quality is quite nice but I had to return mine because it’s not listenable.

Not the best for edm, charging problems early.

The sounds are off when you play most edm songs from it. Has a really lose charging port that will get worst within a month. Can no longer charge while on, it will cut In and say charging constantly.
