Fun but bad card quality
on June 16, 2024

My kids introduced me for some month ago. I love it but I have never experienced such bad quality on the cards. Almost all cards are destroyed and it is very difficult to mix the cards without breaking them. Very sad for such a good game otherwise.

My family and I have been playing skip-Bo for years. The new green card have come out and I've had to buy 3 new decks in a matter of months my Blue card lasted much longer and I was playing with my nieces and nephews then kids,,,,,now it's my two sisters and I that play and the last two packs I brought started messing up and the cards are just falling apart. I believe you guys need to look in to this these cards are not cheap and I love this game,,,,WHAT HAPPENED

Try holding the cards when you're left handed
on November 25, 2018

The game is nice, but there is a problem when you are left handed. If you hold the cards in your hand it is impossible to see the numbers on the cards. Is there a version with numbers in any corner like normal playing cards?
I would recommend this to a friend!

While we do not have a left-handed deck, we appreciate the feedback, and will be sure to share your comments.

Greatest comeback in Skip Bo history!!!
on December 20, 2017

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On this day, Dec 20, 2017, I completed the greatest comeback in Skip Bo history! I was playing with my wife and her grandmother and my wife had like five cards left in her stockpile while I had about 22 card and left and I came back and won the game! Strategy and guile can win out over a near-perfect hand, just remember to keep your composure and your wits about you no matter then odds against you!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Difficult to Read Wild Cards
on September 21, 2017

This is a classic game the seniors at the nursing home love to play, but the wild Skip-Bo card looks too similar to the back of the card. They have difficulty distinguishing which side is the front vs the back. These are seniors who have played Skip-Bo for many years and prefer the older (unfortunately well worn) decks.

Garish Colored Cards
on March 16, 2016
Posted by: WindyRingo
My family has been playing Skip Bo for many years. In the last couple of years when I went to replace worn decks, all I can find is the changed colors. Why change what has been working? Currently, I play with my geriatric aunts, mother-in-law and mother. They are put off by the new colors. They have refused to play, now because they say the colors, "Hurt my eyes."
Also, my husband is color blind and he says the cards look fluorescent to him and he also has lost interest due to these aesthetics.
Suggestion: you could perhaps manufacture two different decks: One with the muted original colors and one as is now, with the more garish colors.
Pros: Durable
Cons: awful colors
I would recommend this to a friend!
