Not worth the effort

My kids had this when they were little. I recently purchased this for my granddaughter & not one piece lined up where it was supposed to. I can’t even get the wheels to go on so it’s going back to the store. These products have gone down hill. I used to love Little Tikes products but that ship has sailed. Horrible product!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

4 years and going strong!

Bought product for our son when he was 16 months old (almost 5 years ago!) and it has held up well, I've never had any problems. Basket is sturdy enough to put a 5 month old in. (Not that I would recommend it!) Had to buy another so my twins could each push their own around, was lucky enough to purchase one second hand that had been used outdoors and other than the wheels being a little rougher it's held up well too. Almost six year old loves to zoom around the house, half the time using it as a scooter. Someone wrote this wasn't a good gift for an apartment and I have to totally disagree, ours got lots of use when all five of us lived in a two bedroom apartment.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bad wheels

Purchased 2 carts for Christmas gifts. The color pet of the wheel continually fell of and the cart did not roll freely. I exchanged them and had the same issue. I contacted Little Tykes and they are sending me the wheel package. Fingers crossed that the 3rd time is the charm. Otherwise this is a cute cart.

nice quality, but tips over alot

I was very excited about my daughter getting this cart because she loved the one at our play group. However, there is a design flaw in this one and it has too much of the cart over the front wheel. So, if you fill it up with play food and then put just a little pressure on the front, the whole thing tips over! This is a daily occurance in our home and I worry my kids will get hurt. That said, It is very durable and quite tall so if you need a cart for an older child (3-5) this may be good for you.
I would recommend this to a friend!

awkward shape, too tall

This cart might be nice if my 18 month old was taller. It is too tall for him and hard to push, so he really doesn't play with it. I don't like how it doesn't really resemble an actual shopping card (the yellow part of the design seems weird to me), but maybe that makes it more stable?? My biggest problem is the height though. My son is just under the 50% for height, and it is too tall for him. By a lot it seems. Unless this is really targeted for 3-4 year olds, it seems like they could stand to make the cart shorter.

Bad Gift Choice

I received this item as a Christmas gift for my 2 yr old.
The item itself is fine, I would recommend it to other people who have room for something like that.

When your gifting for people who live in an apartment or share a household with other relatives, large bulky presents are typically a bad idea.
It's more likely that a child will get hurt trying to play with something like this around furniture in a close space.
I would recommend this to a friend!
