My step daughter bought me this humidifier last Christmas and I love it! I use it every night! I sleep so much better!. My daughter loved mind so I just got one for her for her birthday
Very pleased with the cool mist volume adjustment and oscillating movement. Cleans well and the drop in floating filter is easy to use. This is the second Homedics humidifier I have owned. The first one still works after 18 months of every day use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We are sorry to hear this. We recommend cleaning the ultrasonic membrane with a 50/50 vinegar and water solution. Pour a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water on the surface of the ultrasonic membrane and in the reservoir, then soak for five minutes. Brush clean with a soft-bristle brush and rinse. Best Humidifier, wish it would last longer

I'm on my 2nd one of these; first one lasted 2 winters, 2nd one lasted 1. If it would be of better long-term quality, I would give it 5 stars compared to the others I've tried.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had same model for over 5 years and just dropped the water container in trying to put back on the unit. It broke. Just ordered the same model and it works just as great. Tried to find just the water container part on line but couldn't find one so had to order brand new unit..
I bought this to replace one that I had for years. It helps very much with circulating the mist in the air. I would not be without one. I would have liked to get the same Homedics one that I have prior to this one.
It is what the doctor ordered, literally. My husband had throat cancer and after surgery and radiation, the doctor wanted his throat to be moisturized. It makes a difference with his comfort level. Great product.
