I have the glacier white & gray cover. The gray silicone part got "rough" within a few days of use and was peeling in places a little bit, and I noticed a small crack in the back hard white part. I submitted a warranty request and I commend their excellent customer service because I was sent a replacement one promptly without a long process.

great case i definitly would buy another otterbox, the case is also very tough ive dropped my phone a couple times and if it werent for the case my phone would be broken. im definitly glad i chose an otterbox!

The Otterbox case for my mini fits well, does not make the phone clumsy and does not interfere in any way with the operation of all the phone feature. In fact it makes the volume and shutdown buttons a little less sensitive so I don't make unwanted changes or turn the phone back on when putting it in or removing it from my belt holster. I can't speak to the protection capabilities since I have not dropped my phone, but it does make the phone less slippery and will definitely provide more protection than the bare phone

Long before Otter Box made protection for phones, my dad had the cases sealing out water and protecting against ware and tear.
It is without doubt - that all my phones are covered by Otter Box - I have dropped my phone, had it flung across a room, slid across the floor - and the phone is just fine.
At some point, the plastic cracks - but better this than the phone!! I highly suggest this product if you care about your phone, and do not take risks with accidents.

Very high durability just as I'd expect from Otterbox. My only major was the limited color options for the Galaxy S4 Mini. The feel of the screen protector was a little strange at first, but I quickly got used to it.

Causes issues with charging

I have to completely remove the case when using most chargers because they barely fit in the opening, and also because the rubber charging slot protector applies too much pressure to the underside of the charger terminal.
The case made my chargers bend in a direction that caused the charging pin in the phone itself to bend. I had to use a push pin to straighten out the pin, and now I have to take the case off every time I charge the phone to prevent this from happening again.
The case itself seems sturdy, but for this specific phone, it can actually damage your phone if you're not careful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am pleased with this cover, BUT, I would like to see the back made of a more softer rubber material, one that wont slip when I place my phone on places like the center armrest in the car, or on the arm of my recliner at home.
