I got this TV on a Black Friday sale. I've been looking for a TV and lots of my friends have Samsung TV's and I liked the picture quality. Took it out of the box and had it set up in less than an hour. The TV is very easy to set up. As soon as you turn it on, it tells you how to set it up. The picture and sound are excellent and the Smart Apps are great and easy to use. I am completely satisfied.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

I have had a Samsung Android phone since 2011, and a Samsung Galaxy Tablet (version 1 10" version) since 2012. I decided to go with the trifecta and get a Samsung TV for the living room. I was going to wait until my income tax refund in January for a new TV, but the Thanksgiving week specials were just too good to pass up. I use HBO Go, Netflix, WWE Network, Crackle, and NBA GameTime in terms of apps, and I can't wait to try to see the other apps.
I haven't figured out how to use the DVR on the Samsung remote yet (I use U-Verse for my cable/internet connection) bu I am sure I can find it on Google after this review. It's a GREAT BUY!

Out of the Box you can be up and running in less than 30 minutes. Install the stand and plug it in. The TV does the rest for you, receives the available cable channels and links with your network, it be any easier than this.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, easy to use remote.
Cons: needs an input selector button on the tv itself.

was a little skeptical after reading the reviews about the sound, but have had no problem whatsoever. only recommendation I would make is for better instruction, not everyone is technology savvy.

Since it is a SMART tv it is a great 40 inch entertainment center.

Being that I have not had a new TV for over 12 years....this 40 inch SMART television is fantastic...with all of the features that Samsung has built into this amazing set...you never want to leave home...with all of the shows and programs that are available and the picture quality....why spend the money going out and fighting the traffic when you can enjoy ALL this in your own home.....it is great!!

When buying another appliance or TV it will be a Samsung.

This remote is just to complicated. I have to refer to the on line manual before attempting any adjustments or changes in the pictures quality.
Pros: Lightweight
