We are happy with the TV overall but we are not happy that it appeared we could use Skype - so we bought the Samsung TV Camera only to discover we can't use it. So just a warning if you want Skype on your TV don't buy this one.

This is an excellent TV for a good price. The contrast, color, clarity is just so wonderful. It is easy to setup. When you 1st switch on the TV you will be instructed what to do. Just follow the instructions. You may have to put in the code of the TV to connect to your internet provider. For AT&T Uverse press the TV and the OK button on the Uverse remote simultaneously and quickly type 1337. This will connect your TV to the internet provider. You can also connect your laptop to the TV with a HDMI cable. This way it is like using your laptop on a big screen . It is really nice looking at photographs so enlarged. The internet can also be browsed and DVD s can be played this way. The smart TV applications are just fantastic. I love using Netflick, Utube. Besides there so many other wonderful applications. Other devices like your DVD and old VHS player can be connected to the TV using RCA cables. After you connect any device to the TV press search on the remote and make sure it is connected to the right port which will be displayed on the screen.
This is a SmartTV and it's integrated web browser is billed as a selling point. However, the device is limited to Adobe Flash 10.1, making most internet based multimedia content unusable. Not sure what the point of a Web Browser is on a TV if it can't play flash content.
Sure the device has apps, but not all content from the internet is available via an app, and all of these apps are also available on the Roku which has better Wi-Fi for streaming.
Save yourself some money and get the regular (Not-Smart) version of this TV and a Roku or other streaming device and you will be much happier.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, pretty dumb for a smart tv
