Great TV So Far

Just got this about a week ago so we are still getting acquainted with our new Smart TV and all it can do. But so far we are very impressed. Beautiful, high quality picture and sound. Was very easy to set up and navigate thru the screens. Now just need to sit back and play with all the features until we get comfortable with them. Wish the E Manual was actually a paper one included in the package so we could open the manual and follow along step by step. But that is a minor thing. We couldn't be happier with our purchase.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: only has an e manual and not a paper one

I had been considering a samsung tv for sometime now, and started reading reviews like this one about the television. After seeing great reviews, on this and several retail websites, I decided to go with samsung. At the last moment, I decided to get the smart tv.
All of the features work great, the picture is crystal clear, and the built in speakers are actually pretty nice. I would recommend this tv for anyone who has a room 12x12 or smaller.

Good picture quality and input source options, lacking in Apps

Overall I'm pleased with the picture quality and integration of source components.
The startup from power on until Apps can be used is a little slow.
I haven't found a way to have the TV automatically default to an App at Power up, but it will default to the input source you choose.
The Apps available are a bit limite OR the way Samsung provides access to the Apps makes it difficult to find Apps you're looking for.
Notably missing for my own preference are MLS Matchday and TG4 Irish Language Television.
These are both available on Google TV and it seems a waste to have a Smart TV and then have to also hook up Roku or Google TV to get access to other Apps. I'd give the product a complete 5 if not for the shortcomings of the App selection and App interface.
Alternately if Samsung would allow updating Adobe Flash from 10.1 to the most current version I could access TG4 via the Browser option.

Tv is packed with features, great picture and sound.this unit is set up to do much more than i can do and i will adapt and grow with it,nice to buy a product that woun't be out of date in 6 months.would adavise others to buy.

Best TV ever purchased!!!

In todays day and age of technology, and me being in my early 40's, I didn't really see the big deal about a "smart tv." When my wife and I started to research them, and Samsung was the only way we were going to go because of their reputation, we could not believe the capabilities. I can use my laptop computer, desktop computer, both of our cell phones, it's connected to out internet for things like YouYube etc. Not to mention ALL of the options on the Smart Hub. After hooking it, I am one who likes to know everything about a new purchase, which took me a total of 2 days combined to wee all the wonderful features on this TV. We immediately signed up for Netflix and other available programs so that we could maximize our tv viewing. I would recommend this TV to anyone and everyone. In fact, I helped a guy at KMart make the decision to purchase the 60" inch Samsung Smart TV...he was torn between a cheaper tv version, and convinced him that the slight price difference was so very worth it. We enjoy our tv every single day and continue to learn things every single day. GREAT PRODUCT SAMSUNG, thanks for having your customers in mind!
