This product needs more input connections.

Nice TV. I have not explored all it's features. My review was too short. So I will say the the user manual is poor, generic vague, misleading. This product needs more input connections. I have not tried every option on this tv so I will have to end this review for now.
Pros: new
Cons: picture is bigger then life, poor user manual

Love the picture quality

Just can't believe how much better the picture quality is in just 10 short years. Was very happy with the Samsung TV we had, BUT ...NOW know what we were missing!!!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color

Amazing flat screen TV

This is my first ever flat screen Smart TV. My daughters chipped in and bought it for my wife and I for Christmas 2014. We are a little "old school" and had an old seriously outdated 27" CRT (tv tube) style TV.
The Samsung LED TV is incredible! It easily hooked up to the digital cable box with an HDMI cable and we went step by step through the very first initialization/setup, and voila! It was very easy to do. It is loaded with so many features that we are still learning them all!
The picture and sound quality are top notch too. For being a flat screen 40" TV, it is unbelievably lightweight but yet very sturdy and very well made.
You can't go wrong with this flat screen Smart TV!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

waste of money

paid more than competition to get samsung 55" and 40" smart tv's and coordinated accessories ( keyboard and sound system). keyboard is a worthless doorstop. won't do anything and later saw poor reviews on the net saying the same. then downloaded samsung tv remote app for my iphone only to find it does not work on these new tv's per customer service. also can't connect my pandora account.
built in speakers are terrible so you either need to buy a home theater, connect to your stereo system or put up with it.

This TV has a picture that is crisp, clear, and the color is very accurate. The only fault that I could find was that there is a slight delay in the Apps responding to an input from the remote. Take a breath, slow down, and everything works as it should.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: a bit slow to respond
