This TV dares to say FLAC is not supported! FLAC audio has been around for years and became popular format for lossless audio. Menu navigation and apps performance are rather slow than smooth. Though I haven't seen any performance issues while playing different 1080p content. There was some lag while connected to Wi-Fi but short Ethernet cable fixed the problem. The most important feature for me quickly became wireless display. I found it very easy to use especially on my phone and really enjoy casting everything including apps that do not support it.
Samsung has a good reputation in building great products and I am a proud owner of couple of them. The samsung TV that i bought recently is just to add to the family. The TV is awesome compared to the rest in the league. The best features to highlight: > Picture quality > Any device compatability > Screen mirrorning > Any format play > User freindly > Easy to use > Web browser function. and lot more Its a magical box and I would reccomend it to all.
A high quality , lightweight TV. Easy setup for 1 person. The initial system setup was easy too. The TV found and connected to my WiFi network. The Smart TV apps were easy to use.
Clear, bright picture and good sounds quality.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, stable base, big selection of smart tv apps, easy setup
I love, love, love my Samsung products. Particularly, my newly purchased t.v.. I have fell in love with Samsung's products since purchasing the very first Samsung Slim Fit on or about 2004 or 2005. Samsung products last a very long time, if you take care of your investments. I enjoy the features of my current purchase. Very easy to set up as long as you follow the on screen instructions. Take your time setting up your t.v. and you will not have any problems. I'm in the process of buying another Samsung for the kitchen area. A smaller size for the kitchen. I enjoy cooking, so, the one for the kitchen will also be wall mounted. Thank you Samsung for your products to include tablets and cell phones. I'm happy.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, reasonable size, easy to set up, lots of features, easy wireless hookup
first of all i was a big fan for Samsung products before I bought this TV. I always chose Samsung product for their quality and reputation. after this experience i will think twice before buying new Samsung product. at the beginning the TV picture is excellent but the smart features have a lot of problems. 1- the smart hub and application is too slow (i accept it and i said ok may be the value of the money i paid) 2- applications such as you-tube or netflex crashes often. and its very common to get the message preparing TV try again later when you try to run application even when the tv was started for couple of hours. 3- after few months the TV start to display end of service notifications for some preinstalled features. 4- the preview and information about TV features is removed from smart hub. 5- the layout of the smart hub is changed to new ugly one. 6- when I open Featured menu in smart hub a screen with software icon appears one of the icon shows big blue screen with smart hub icon in the top right corner, when i select it the TV shows Loading adhub for a minute and then shows big picture with smart hub logo and then nothing!!!! all what you can do is pressing exit to return to your tv screen !!!!
if you want just TV its ok the picture and sound is ok. but if you think its smart the software is very bad and Samsung will discontinue many features and you have to live with that.
