Great First Doll

My 2 year old son and 14 month old daughter both received dolls for Christmas 2014. My daughter's doll was Jenna. Up to this point we had soft toys but no dolls and I was SHOCKED to see her reaction. As soon as Jenna was out of the box, my daughter turned into the little mummy I never was until I became an ACTUAL mummy. Jenna is the perfect size for a tiny 17lb girl to carry around gently patting and her soft body is very huggable. She's also small enough to put into my purse or change bag when we go out. I haven't noticed the powdery smell some other reviewers mentioned. We had to launder Jenna's outfit the other day and it came out no worse for the wear, although it was air-dried just in case. Her smocked pink sleeper and sweet hat are adorable but it would be nice to see similar outfits in other patterns available. My little ones are too small for that now but in the future it might extend their interest. Overall, A+. We all love Jenna.

My daughter absolutely loves this dole but the eyelashes fell out after just one day of play. Now the one eyelid is constantly stuck open or closed and the doll looks super creepy. It's too bad, the quality is so poor given how much she loves it. Wish I could give it 5 stars.
