My daughter got this for Christmas and the veneer peeled off the house, detaching the chimney and hinge from the actual house. Disappointed and unimpressed. Have contacted M&D regarding this issue, will update this review based on their reply.

Children Enjoy Playing with it

I am a child therapist. I bought the dollhouse to use in my office to encourage young children to talk. Both boys and girls choose this dollhouse over other toys to play with. They love when I sit on the floor with them as they decide where to place the pieces to set up the family.

I bought this for my 2 year old niece (I know it says for 3+ but this really was a good fit for her and she does not put things in her mouth anymore). Everyone from my sister (her mom) to the older kids at the party and of course the birthday girl herself, were playing with it once it was opened. Big Hit!

This was bought as a present for my 4year old daughter. It has been the best present she has ever played with. She not only loves it but is willing to share it with her little brother. Any time they share is a bonus in my book. I am hooked and am looking for things for my other children.
