Very lifelike and fun. We bought this lion for our daughter Around the time she was one - A couple of years ago. She lovedthis lion so much and had so much fun riding on his back. She turned 3 recently and still loves lions and animals in general. It is a lifelike size with excellent realistic detail. He's perfect for a small chikd to to sit on his back and pretend to "ride" him. So I think it's best to make sure you have enough space to put them on the floor on a soft surface for the most play options. He really is lifelike and great quality.

Placed lion on coffee table in living room. Not to be used by children. Hoped that lion would have been more realistic looking. Front toes could have been separated instead of one unit, life-lie whiskers could have been sewn on instead of being drawn on and stitching is moderately visible throughout stuffed animal. I would not mind a more expensive lion if it was more realistically displayed.

We bought this for our 8yr old son to sleep with, and he loves it. It's soft, well made, and very cuddly and touchable. We wish it was a little heavier to stay in place while he sleeps, but it still deserves 5 stars.
