Melissa and Doug charged me over $200.00 for this lion and giraffe and when I received them and they did not work for me I was told I could return them at my own expense. The total to mail these back was over $130.00. BUYER BEWARE! Have happily purchased from Melissa and Doug for 12 years will no longer spend money with a company who charges me for shipping and an oversized item fee on top of it and then charges me to return the product unopened and unused. Very disappointed.

This creature is awesome, in the literal sense of inspiring awe. After I bought it in a specialty gift shop, as I carried it through the mall, everyone who saw me stopped and gaped with their mouths hanging open. I haven't even given it to my infant nephew for Christmas yet, but the longer it's in my possession, the more I love it. For a plush lion to be this physically enormous and majestic, and yet touchable and lovable, is quite an accomplishment. What a masterpiece. I just can't recommend it highly enough.

Great purchase. 4 year old grandson started playing with the tiger version right away and since his 3 year old brother had the lion, they both had fun as fighting cats! The expressions on both the lion and tiger are very sweet and they are very durably constructed which is a good thing. I have a felling they will get hard use from the first few hours of owning them.
