Lots of room. Easy assembly. The only issue I have is with the tapped holes. They had some burrs. Luckily I had the taps in my toolbox to chase the threads.

Great Smoker

When purchased it arrived faster than expected, assembly instructions were easy to follow and understand. I had it fired up and seasoned that same evening. I like the fact that there is a lot of room in the cooking chamber, and it does reheat quick after opening door on it. Well worth the money and a lot of fun.
BTW i have done zero modifications to mine and it has sealed up well with good airflow.

Great Smoker!

Did alot of research before settling on an Oklahoma Joes longhorn offset reverse flow. I wanted to make sure I was able to get the kind of smoker that would achieve the kinda of flavors I remember as a kid and so far this thing has not failed to impress. I have no issues with the smoker at all. I read some of the other reviews and there were some complaints about how this thing was made and I didn’t run into any of that. Further I welded and fabricated for years so if there was an issue I was just gonna sort it out but this was a well made smoker, and the only thing I’ve done was tightening the nut in the vent down in the firebox to make it snug enough to stay in the open position. Not a big deal. Yes the paint did chip off the top of the firebox and the bottom during my “seasoning process” but that’s not a big deal. Either keep it oiled (like you should) or get a rattle can of high temp paint and sand the area smooth and go back over it. Either way not a big deal. I would say keeping it covered and oiled should seriously prolong the life of your grill. Just my 2 cents. So thanks Oklahoma joes……great product and I’ll definitively be making more purchases with you in the future.

Great Grill/Smoker

I know a good friend that owns this grill. He bought it before I got mine and has stood by it from day one. He has had nothing but good luck and great food come out of it. It took him a while to get the smoking down being reverse smoke but since then it's been a great grill. I think all the bad reviews on this grill are because they don't know how to operate a good smoker or don't know how to smoke at all. It is a science and takes patience and learning in my opinion it's not for everybody. Oklahoma joe is just a good product no matter how you look at it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So close to great

My husband is over the moon and the inaugural smoke went extremely well. The problem.. the paint on the wood/fire box started bubbling and peeling right off the bat at the first lighting when seasoning the metal and then further when using the to smoke meat for the crew and now a week later the inside of the wood box is rusty already :(

Used it. It’s teaching me how to smoke. I’m really learning how to control temperature and fire as I get good with wonderful bark and magnificent flavor

I have had this reverse flow for a year. Smoke, grill and rotisserie on it at least two to three times a week. Haven’t had and problems. Love how I can can go from reverse flow to traditional offset to grilling to rotisserie usa by changing my smoke sack, removing four baffle plates. Well worth the money.

Great versatility

Bought the longhorn reverse flow last year, have smoked grilled even rotisserie at least two times a week never had a complaint about my smoke or grilling. Love hoe for the price it can be a reverse flow or traditional offset, to a bbq grill and yes a rotisserie. To me it the best for the price.
