Poor build quality uneven heat

This grill was purchased for its size and ability to cook 16 burgers and 24 hot dogs at once. The heat is extremely uneven which means i have to keep the burgers in constant rotation on the grill so they cook all the way through. Spent a long time disassembling and cleaning burner tubes and cross over tubes with no effect on the unevennes of the heat. Its difficult to move around, the frame flexes A LOT when moving and more than once the casters have broken free from their cheap PLASTIC sockets even when rollong over smooth even concrete. Seriously Charbroil?... Plastic sockets? The replacements are no better same soft plastic, you think they improve this but apparently lots of negative reviews on faulty parts isnt enough for Charbroil to improve a poorly designed product. Will not recommend or purchase a Charbroil product again.

GARBAGE

The grill has been used 4 times since being finally put together. The grill cooks very uneven and the engineer who thought to move the gas channel from THE BACK OF THE GRILL NOW TO THE FRONT should find another job. EVERY SINGLE TIME I COOK ON THIS PROBLEM GRILL I SINGE THE HAIRS OF MY HAND AND WRIST. THE HEAT FROM THE GAS CHANNELS BURN MY SKIN. MY OLDER 4 BURNER CHAR BROIL CABINET GRILL WOULD COOK BURGERS AND DOGS ON TWO BURNERS FOR FOUR OF US IN MY FAMILY. This grill you need to have on at least 4 burners to generate ENOUGH heat to help cook the food. This is such a waste of propane

redesigned by someone who does not grill!

I bought this to replace a 6 year old grill I loved! It had a great brazer and this one does as well. However, the flame bar, that lights all the burners was moved from the back of the old grill to the front of the new grill. Result is that you always have a live flame right under your hands as you hold the utensils to use the grill! Obviously placed there by someone who does NOT use a grill!

Not happy

I bought this grill as a replacement for an old Char-Broil. I have been happy with other Char-Broil products but am disappointed with this grill. The major issue is that they rack used to light all of the burners is in front of the grill. This creates a hot area in front of the grill. This makes it difficult to turn good at the back of the grill.

Large surface but uneven heat

2 nd season of use and it’s always hotter toward the back. Uneven heat makes it hard to cook on. Have to constantly rotate the food to compensate. Otherwise performs well.

It made me the grill king

I was the king of the grill when I brought my new 6 burner grill home and go it put together. Many great meals can from it. I'm not a spring chicken, and this is probably my 6th Charbroil grill. I love them the first year or two, then the dreded nickel dime parts replacement game starts. Then I say to myself, do I buy parts, or a new grill. The wife answers that, buy parts or do without. I would love to buy a grill that lasted 10 years before you had to buy parts.
I would recommend this to a friend!

All around great grill

I loved my charbroil grill. I had to pass it on to a friend when I moved. I smoked a lot on it using just one burner, it kept a consistent 275 degrees F perfect for smoking. I would remove the top rake for large pieces of meat. I had the rotisserie attachment, it worked like a charm and I used it many times each month. I cleaned and oiled my cast iron grill grates after every use and I never had to replace them. I would deep clean the inside of the grill once a month (I used it a lot). I would have to replace the heat deflectors at least twice a year. I used Shiela-shine on the outside to keep the exterior clean and polished. I highly recommend Charbroil and this 5 burner grill!

I have used my new grill about 4 times now and am very pleased with my decision! I had a 5 burner Commercial series prior to this one! Was disappointed I couldn't find that model again, I used the last Charbroil for 8 year's, replaced the burners twice, it was a great grill, I hope I get that much life out of this one!
