Well, I fired up my new grill for the first time. I set it hot got to 650 degrees in four minutes. I let it go for five minutes. I put two two inch pork loin chops on. Got great sear marks with a five minute learning curve got the temp down to 350 degrees. keep in mind this is my first gas grill. The meat was tender and moist Juicy. I love this grill I am so impressed with it. I have family and friends coming over tomorrow. I can't wait to grill hamburgers and dogs for them. Thanks for a great product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have recommended this grill three times (and then assembled them), it is true to its description, and gets the job done. Pro's: /assembly is very straight forward, plan on taking an hour or two, (assemble it on a flat, level surface.. don't snug down screws til unit you are ready to put on the door) /compact, yet you can cook for four without feeling like you need a second grill /stainless steel grate... the reason I recommend this unit over the others in this price range. I am not a fan of the cast iron/porcelain... they do not last
Con's: darn box is heavy, two people should be around to move it to the assembly point, then the extra person can go get a beer, putting this together is easily done with one person.
Verdict: yeah, grills today are not built like they were in the way back machine, but this one more than fits the bill, of the three that I have been acquainted with, one is used once a month, the other two are pretty much used at least once a week year round)
being the original Jewish/Scotsman... I am still using an old Perfect Flame, it has more patches than a retread tire... someday I may actually get one of these puppies for myself.

Awesome Family-Sized Grill!

Assembly of the Signature 2 Burner Gas Grill was well thought out. Parts lined up with ease. Having two people participate in assembly was a good idea, mainly so someone could follow directions and pull the next needed part(s). Parts feel like they are built to last. Even heat throughout the grill easily maintains temperature for even cooking without "hot spots." Your food is able to achieve a restaurant-quality appearance. We cooked several different kinds of food - steak, shrimp, chicken, sausage, vegetables, and also used a cast iron skillet on the grill. Everything we cooked turned out great, and we had no issues with different cooking methods. Having the option to hook up to our natural gas line is nice. We haven't done that yet, but may in the future. Having only two burners may be a detriment with it comes to cooking for a larger group, but having the holding rack helps. For everyday family meals this grill has been perfect, and we've used it many times since receiving it. This is a great family-sized grill and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it. This item was sent to me as a free sample in exchange for my review; however, that in no way influenced my review.

Great Compact Grill for Everyday Use

I received my Char-Broil Signature 2 Burner Gas Grill just in time for grilling season. On the day it arrived, I was looking forward to putting the new grill to use. As the grill was delivered in a box from a courier, I was initially concerned that the grill may have been banged-up on transit. Nevertheless, the grill was well packaged and there was zero damage to the unit. While the meat marinated, I began to build the grill. The instructions provided step-by-step picture descriptions; however, it did not contain words to accompany the pictures. Luckily, it wasn’t all too difficult to figure it out and was able to easily put the grill together. Put together, the grill looks sleek with its two tone design: black and stainless steel. The build-quality is superb and I love the heavy-duty grill grates.
As soon as I connected the propane tank, I fired that baby-up. I was happy to see the flames come-on instantly after pressing-on the igniter; it meant, I installed everything properly. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it took to warm-up the grill to the optimum cooking temperature. On the menu for the inaugural meal were: Tri-tip, Sausages, Asparagus, Corn, and Potatoes. I decided to test the grill by leaving the fat on the Tri-tip; I usually cut-it off to prevent flare-ups. To my amazement, not once did I have to deal with any flare-ups. It appears the stainless steel heat tent over the burners mitigated any potential flare-ups. I was impressed. While the left side of the grill was covered with the Tri-tip and Sausages, the right side was set on-low to cook the vegetables; the warming wrack also became handy. The Trip-tip cooked evenly and it was a delight to eat. Enjoying my new grill, I have been at it every day this week; cooking simple meats as burger patties, sausages, carne asada and chicken. For my cooking needs, the cooking area has been adequate; mostly filling the grilling real estate. Cooking often and regularly, I have had to clean the grilling area after each use. I like to clean the grates when they’re nice and hot; makes the job easier. However, I do let it cool down to clean the burner covers, but, I don’t mind it at all as it prevents flare-ups.
This item was sent as a free sample in exchange for my review. However, I am impressed by the results of the grill that it is a grill I would gladly purchase.

This item was sent as a free sample in exchange for my review. However, my review will be my honest, unbiased opinion.
The grill came in a very big box. Getting the box over the front step and through two doorways was a little challenging and required two people. I don’t recommend trying this by yourself. I didn’t notice any damage to the outside of the box, but something must have happened in transit because several pieces were bent when I unpacked them. One piece was bent enough that I had to use pliers to bend it back into shape before it would fit in place.Other than a few bent pieces, the only problem I have had with the grill is that one burner isn’t working properly. It seems to have limited gas flow, and when it is set to high, the flame is about the size that the other burner produces when it’s on its lowest setting. While trying to fix the problem (or at least identify it), I fully detached the burners and switched them around without any problem. I was a little worried I would have to disassemble the whole grill to unhook them, but it was fast and easy. I haven’t tried to contact customer service about the problem burner yet.
Assembling the grill was straightforward if you usually understand assembly instructions that are exclusively pictures. The instructions did identify each piece by a number, but most of the pieces didn’t have those numbers on them or on their individual boxes.
One of the selling points of this grill is presumably its size; since it’s only two burners, it seems like it would be easier to tuck away in smaller yards. However, once the two side shelves are installed, it is not much smaller than a four burner grill, and the cooking area on the grates accommodates more food than I originally anticipated. However, I will say that the side shelves are generously sized and have been handy while grilling.
One of my favorite aspects of this grill is the wheels. It has four wheels that have 360 degree rotation. Two of them lock in place. Moving it around the patio is easy, but the wheels are small, so I won’t be rolling it across bricks or over tree roots. The actual grates are very heavy and stainless steel, not the light, thin grates I’m used to seeing. I was also impressed with how fast the unit heats up. Even with only one burner working, it heated up enough to cook hamburgers in a very short amount of time. Everything that will need to be cleaned is easily accessible.
Overall I'm really glad I have this grill - I think it will keep my grilling needs going for the next ten years.

assembly was easy for the grill, two burners makes conserving gas easy as well. the grill is made out of solid quality materials, and works likes a charm. It has 2 side counter tops, making it easy to have the food and tools needed without going back and forth. The back rack is great for cooking vegetables, or just keeping food warm while the rest cooks. overall this is a great grill, everything I cooked to date has come out very well. Happy Grilling

My pop got this for me as a housewarming gift. It lives in the garage and I wheel it in and out. I use it all year. The finishing materials and quality are solid. I bought a few of the accessories and they're very good quality too. The wheels make moving it easy. The burners start each time with just one press of a button. For it's relatively small and compact size, it performs great. The only tricky part is figuring out where the hot spots are. The grilling temps are not distributed evenly across the entire 2 burner range.
