Good Grill

This grill was very easy to put together. The grill grates are very heavy duty and create enough heat to cook food thoroughly and fast. The side burner is useful and is great for cooking vegetables. The grill cooking surface area is plenty big for cooking different types of meats. The extra top rack inside the grill is useful and hand to keep food warm. Good looking grill although wish the bottom was enclosed from the elements. The side table is very handy to have while grilling. Overall the grill is very nice and is worth having around. This item was sent as a free sample in exchange for my review.

Great grilling performance right out of the box!!!

I have been using the Char Broil Performance 4-Burner grill for about a week now-long enough to have cooked a couple steaks, pork chops, sausages, and even some scallops the other night. This is not only a good looking grill that's pretty solid at its price point, but it was also really easy to put together once it arrived. The directions were clear and there was very little in the way of unnecessary construction. The whole process to 30 minutes or so, I hooked up a propane tank and we were good to go. So far I've been particularly impressed with the heat consistency, especially because we've definitely had some temperature swings over the past week while I was cooking on it. It's also not unusual to need to "feel out" a newer grill for hot spots, but I haven't found that to be the case here. On back to back nights I cooked a near three inch thick bone-in rib eye to medium-rare over indirect heat before searing it off at the end over direct heat. And then the following evening I quickly grilled sea scallops over direct heat and they were just as spot on as the previous night's steak. For only using the grill a few times, that says a lot about the consistency of the heat output. I also love the size of this thing. Burgers and dogs for a family of five along with neighbors is going to be a breeze with all that grill space. This item was sent as a free sample in exchange for my review. But that said, it has outperformed what I expected from a Char Broil grill going in. With Spring on the way, I'm in the market for a new smoker and/or charcoal grill this season, and I'm certainly going to take a longer look at Char Broil than I might have prior to testing out this nice 4 burner grill. It's hard to find better quality and ease of use at the price.

I give this grill 5 stars across the board, the appearance is perfect, it was easy to assemble, very easy to use and cooked everything beautifully. I highly recommened this grill to everyone and I absolutely love it. I'm so happy that i received this as a free sample in exchange for my review.

Great grill

This grill lives up to the long standing name of Char-broil. This grill was easy to assemble and has all the features i was looking for in a quality grill. 1. Fuel. I was in the market for a gas grill. I have always preferred to speed of gas over charcoal. 2. cast iron grill grates. They retain heat better and is a sign of a quality grill. 3. Extra side burner. This grill had an extra side burner, great for cooking side dishes so you aren't splitting time between the grill and house. This is an excellent grill I would recommend it to anyone looking for a mid range priced grill. This grill was sent to me as a free sample in exchange for a fair and honest review, this did not influence my review in any way

Great grilling experience

This item was sent as a free sample in exchange for my review but this does not influence my ratings and honest opinion about it's performance.
Assembly was required and simplified by he manufacturer in the way the parts were easily identified and well organized. This also gave me a better understanding as to the quality of the grill.
When cooking, it performed really well. I found that it cooked best with the flame settings on low with minimal flare ups and nice even heat. From pork chops to chicken and hamburgers, they all turned out delicious and juicy with a good grilled flavor.
