I really love these. I also have a pair of the AD700s, but if these are closer I'm just as happy to pick them up. I was a little worried I wouldn't like the straight band (vs the winged type on the AD700s), but it is very comfortable and doesn't give me a pressure headache like I experienced with a previous set I had by Astro, which these triumphantly replaced. They're very light, which also helps. I have to agree with the previous reviewer that the cups aren't quite deep enough. My ears don't quite touch the plastic inside, but the fabric does rub and apply pressure, which does not happen with the AD700s. That would be the only change I could recommend to this set, but it doesn't bother me enough that I feel I need a break from using them at any point. The pads are removable for washing, which is also great. I primarily use these to play games with my PS4 (plugged into my Dualshock4), often including party chat. Friends report that I sound great and that my wall unit AC, directly overhead, isn't bothersome in the least. I've also used it with my MacBook Pro for watching media or listening to music. Everything sounds wonderful with these. I haven't had to yet, but I'm much happier knowing I won't have to buy a whole new set if something happens to the cable - it can just be swapped out for a new one.
Pros: Great Microphone, Great sound quality, Highly Compatible, Lightweight

I owned this headset for about a year and a quarter. During that time for the most part, my experience with the headset was fantastic. It was lightweight, reliable, sounded excellent, and could be used with the Xbox One, PC, and Mobile Device. Unfortunately, I began to notice some of the flaws in the headsets design. Specifically its cheap cord manufacturing. The Cord for the mic has a small black box attached in the middle of it used to mute the mic quickly. It also has a volume dial to quickly change the volume of the headset. This piece on the cord is terribly made. First of all, the box does not fully mute on PC. While it does mute your voice while speaking to other people, once muted it begins to transmit all internal audio playing inside your headset on the computer. Very annoying for those you are speaking with. Secondly. I have had to get 2 replacement Mic cord wires due to some issue with that black box. The first time the volume dial quit out and caused all audio in the headset to be stuck at a barely audible level. The second time, the internal wires quit out and all audio in the right ear cup cut out. This cord is the entire problem with the headset. The headset itself is fantastic but due to the awful quality of the supporting parts, It now has me searching for a new headset. Next time just put more quality into the little things too and the headset will be flawless I'm sure!
Pros: Comfortable, Great Microphone, Great sound quality, Lightweight

After using the ATH-PDG1's for about a year, I've really come to like them. They've got great sound, a great microphone, and are super light and portable. The one problem I have is that after a few hours of use, my ears hurt quite a bit because my ears press right against the plastic in front of the drivers.
Pros: Compact, Great Microphone, Great sound quality, Highly Compatible, Lightweight
Cons: Uncomfortable

I've had this headset for half a year and in that it was fantastic. The sound was great, it was comfortable, and the mic quality was pretty good. However, this headset has a long black cord that can be detached from the head set, while I like that, the cord seems to have broken internally and causes all of my PC audio to be transmitted to those I talk to and in addition to that all audio has been played in a near impossible to hear level. The Headset itself was fantastic, the cord was not and that is a real killer for this headset.
Pros: Comfortable, Good Bass, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight, Stylish
Cons: Poor Cord
