glue on strips to hold these don't hold. The rear strip has nothing to attached itself to.

Range trim kit

Very disappointed with the range trim kit. We have had four different kits and none were the correct size. The installer from the appliance store have taken pictures and measurements and sent them to KitchenAid but to no avail. Our range is not a custom appliance. You would expect the trim kit would fit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

impossible to return when didn't fit

Purchased this item. Item itself is fine but did not fit well with our counter. Still trying to get required return authorization. Multiple calls and promises but still waiting on an email.

I bought this yesterday, and as pointed out by others, the size of the trim does not fit the size of the KitchenAid range. I'm very disappointed, I purchased as an original item and it should fit.

Poor Design

Love the kitchenaid downraft range. Hate the ill fitting and poorly engineered trim kit. Sales staff assured me trim would be seamless, it is anything but. Kit has 90% corners, range has rounded corner. This makes for 1/4 gaps at the rear. This along with fact back of range is not straight ( more gaps) and side bits are cut too short. Had I known all this, ..I would have never purchased this range. I never post reviews of any sort, but this is so terrible.
