This machine is the lightest available laptop which you can carry around. Aimed at being portable and workable, this is a true class of superiority. Taking it around is just a breeze with the weight being just at 0.8 KG.
With the price being offered, this is a superb deal. Who ever has seen this device, has become a fan of it. I really recommend this to whoever is seeking a good portable machine.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Inexpensive, Lightweight, Built-in speakers, value for money
Cons: plastic feel
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Build Quality In A Small Package!

Pros: -Very Portable(Lightweight and slim) -Good performance for its size -Nice Screen -Back lit Keyboard -Able to sync to a Samsung phone Cons: None!
When the laptop arrived the box was so light I thought it must only contain the accessories. But no, it really did have my extra-light laptop! So far am loving it! My only negative surprise was that it seemed small, until I realized that the new, standard size of 13.3 is smaller than the old standard which is closer to 14. But I've already gotten used to it and love that I can easily carry it anywhere. I don't need a tablet - I have the power of a full laptop without the weight or bulk. Keypad is good and once I adjusted the keypad/mouse settings to stop the constant resizing it's fine. Thanks Samsung!
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: little smaller than expected
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great ultrabook with a few flaws

Under 2 pounds and fast -- Windows 10 boots in under 10 seconds. Those are two main reasons I got this ultrabook. For the average Windows user, it is great.
The keyboard is OK -- I have used better and worse. The main thing I dislike is lack of dedicated Home/End/PgUP/PgDn keys (one has to press Fn and then an arrow key).
The touchpad is very sensitive. I am using both the touchpad and a USB mouse and like the mouse better.
The power plug and USB port are too close together. About half of my devices will not plug in the USB port if the power is already plugged in. I am using a USB dock for mouse, memory stick, DVD player and external hard disk for backups.
The power plug seems fragile as it is very small.
The BIOS has very limited ability to change. While one can switch between EFI and CSM boot modes, one cannot turn off/of features such as VTX, or switch between SATA and IDE. I need that ability to be able to install other OSes. I was able to install Fedora Linux, but failed trying to install Solaris and eCS (OS/2). I currently dual boot between Windows 10 and Fedora Linux 23.
The Samsung Magician application does not work with the SSD that is in this computer
The Samsung web site is missing software downloads for this model; at least by using the normal search on the site. Tech support emailed the link after I emailed them for the information on finding Samsung Update (needed to install it after reinstall of Windows 10 after converting from GPT to MBR partitions).
I like that it has ethernet via the included adapter plug -- it works as I found out when I reinstalled Windows and the clean install had no driver for the wireless.
Given these minor flaws, I would still buy this computer.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight, fast
Cons: limited bios
I would recommend this to a friend!

Powerful machine in an incredibly light package

I am in the midst of changing careers in my mid-40s. I still do some freelance graphic and web work, but due to recent spinal surgery, needed a more portable, lighter laptop since I'm constantly using it and carrying loads of textbooks. This machine is under two pounds, but feels sturdy and there is a lot of power packed under the hood. I've only owned it for a few days, but I had it loaded with what I needed pretty quickly. I needed a Windows OS to be able to run Office (which, luckily, I get through my university) and video capabilities for projects I will need to complete in another course down the line, hence needing the RAM (8 gigs) and the processor (iCore 5) this computer has. I also will have plenty of power and space to run Adobe's Creative Suite on this as well if I decide to use this as my primary machine (which I have a feeling, I will). Classes resume next week and I'm grateful to have this computer to lessen my load a bit.
This lap top is legit. It is light, durable and cool looking. The screen is marvelous and it is lightning fast. I attend school online and often have trouble dropping class because my internet is poor and my last computer was archaic. Its definitely worth the $$$.
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, fast processor
I would recommend this to a friend!
