I ordered this watch a couple weeks ago in an effort to work on my generally poor concept of time. I don't wear leather so I was looking for an alternative that's more casual and comfortable than a metal band. This watch checked off all my boxes! The olive/cream color combo is really pretty and goes with almost everything. The green band is *slightly* less vibrant than it appears online (still green but more towards khaki), but the appearance is otherwise consistent with the photo. The watch itself works very well and was easy to set. the design and light-up dial feature make it very readable. The watch does have an pretty audible tick in a quiet room, but that doesn't really bother me (although, it is loud enough to have annoyed my boyfriend when I fell asleep in bed with it on.)
My only real issue is the quality of the band! It started showing signs of wear (visible fraying) after less than 2 weeks! Thankfully it's relatively easy and inexpensive to order a replacement band. Overall, the good definitely outweighs the band and I'm really happy with my choice!

I've had this watch a few weeks now and it's already my favorite. Perfect size, light weight, comfortable and so easy to read, even with my weak eyes. It lights in the dark too. I love it.

Great clean looking watch

In the world of gargantuan, bloated watches the Weekender is a fantastic timepiece of understated, preppy elegance. Very easy to read without any other nonsense. I get all sorts of compliments which is almost hilarious considering the price (quite a bit less if you go hunting for Timex through Amazon or Walmart). It's a great way to wear a watch and know the time while giving a serious "go-to-heck" snubbing to those obsessed with dropping so much more on a watch.
It's sized very well at 38mm. As a guy with modest wrists it's nice to get a good watch that doesn't overwhelm my forearm.
As far as I can tell the watch is very accurate, though the fact I'm frequently jumping between time zones means I'm resetting it so often it'd be difficult to detect drift.
Switching out watch bands can be done in seconds and requires no special tools. You just pull out the old band and push the new one through two brackets on the back. This makes it very easy to customize with other Timex watchbands. If you see a band you like but it's not offered out of the box with the watch-face you want, go ahead and splurge on the extra Hamilton for a fresh band.

I'm so happy with my new purchase. Wear it daily. I needed a watch to help me quickly see Military time when scheduling meetings with co-workers in FI and SE. The watch face is the perfect size for me and very easy to read. Watch band is very comfortable. Indiglo feature is an added bonus. I'm very glad I bought it and the price was right. Package also arrived quickly.

I have issues with metal directly on my skin so the strap under the metal back is just perfect for me. Considering getting it in the green strap.

A Simple but Excellent Analog Watch.

I 've been looking for a military style watch and this one was the closest one that met the ideal. The simplistity of this watch makes it a great watch. Just numbers, second hand and Indiglo for me is better than a multifunction "Swiss Army" type watch.

I ordered this for a friend. and She wanted one just like mine. Mine is dark gray or green, I cannot really tell. The one we got was all black.. I am going to keep this for myself , but try to order her a new one.
