Great Gift!

My husband loved this watch. It's sporty, AND has all the basic functions he needs. The indiglo face with large numerals lights up in the dark so he knows the time wherever his is.
I would recommend this to a friend!

As with others, crown came off

Lovely watch, but the crown and stem came off. Don't remember it catching on anything. Left a hole and a non-working watch. Other reviews have noted the same problem. This is a critical failure.
Also, the paint wears quickly, showing silver underneath.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It’s okay

I really like the look and feel of this watch, but I have purchased two and the band fell off of both of them. There is a little spring loaded bar holding both sides of the band in place and it likes to pop out. After a while, I simply lost the little bars. I am now hesitant to buy any more watches from Timex because I don’t know if I can trust it from just falling apart - especially since this is supposedly super durable (the watch is, the band is not)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Watch did not keep time after 2 days of ownership. Stem fell out after a week, stitching on leather band started coming loose at same time.

I've had this watch for several years. My nephew REALLY likes it. He does NOT want a smartwatch so got one for his 18th birthday. He was thrilled! Still his favorite uncle...LOL.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boyfriend loves this watch. He's had it for just under a year, and wears it on special occasions-- no issues with it falling apart. He says the strap is very comfortable, and he's satisfied. :)

This watch looks stylish, and is simple enough for what my husband needs. However, he has only had it a few months, and the stem broke off. We have always used Timex. Hopefully, this watch doesn’t mean that their quality is going downhill.

Been all over the world

This model Expedition I bought over 10 years ago and it's backpacked all over the world with me. India, South America, Africa, Europe and it's my every day watch too. I love the Indigo light feature so I can see the time on those long overnight train trips in India. Alas after several band replacements and countless travels it's time for a replacement since then date no longer works but it keeps great time. Why mess with perfection---I'm going to order a new Expedition---same model. Thanks, Timex
