Such a perfect piece of equipment, worked perfectly on my crossbow and successfully recorded my girlfriends first bow kill at 25 yards !!

Gun rod attachment

The connection where the frame of the camera meets the attachment wouldn't hold through the recoil of my shotgun. The camera would flip down after the second shot. I got it specifically for waterfowl hunting where I fire a lot of shots so I was pretty disappointed.

Even though I feel this mount targeting sportsmen is a bit more expensive than it needs to be, it is definitely worth the money to ease in mounting your GoPro to your rifle.

Gun Rod Bow Mount

So far I’ve only used it for hunting ducks, pheasants, and grouse. I thought it’d be amazing because I could just strap it onto my shotgun, push play and not worry about it. Totally wrong; first, if your going through any brush you don’t want to scratch your lease, second it’s leaving marks on my barrel, and third of all since you always swing your gun while moving none of the footage is good. Therefore I’m thinking about opting out to just a head mount there fore the camera with see what I see and get the gun shooting the birds.

Mount needs teeth on angle adjuster so it won't slip and have to be adjusted every shot.

This mount was great for my first three trips out with it until the plastic mount that holds the GoPro locked in cracked and broke. I had didn't drop it or abuse the plastic incasing, it just cracked. Awesome idea but the life of the plastic frame that holds the GoPro is terrible for the price.
