Don't believe the hype

I purchased this laptop about a week ago from a local dealer. It's a BEAUTIFUL machine that is light weight and has an impressive screen with small bezels. Seriously I just HAD to have it when I was in the store so I made an impulse purchase.
BUT....
battery life is no where near the 19.5 hours touted... even when setting to the highest battery saving option in windows, disabling the GX150 GPU and setting the brightness to 50% I'm lucky to get 7 hours of streaming youtube or netflix using either Edge or the Netflix app. Wireless is also weak and I can't get a good signal where even my iPhone will get full signal. I'm incredibly disappointed in this laptop for the price point.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, beautiful machine, 8th gen i7 cpu, nvidia gpu
Cons: Did not meet expectations, expensive for what you get, 19.5 hour battery life is a flat out lie, keyboard backlighting doesn't seem to work as expe, bloatware
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is by far one of the best laptop i ever had, despite the fact that it does not comes witn lid keyboard, it is perfect and the performance works as you wish.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Lightweight

My experience with this laptop

The laptop has a great design, all the inputs/features as described are included and it works very fast being a 6th generation i7 processor. Only problems that I have found:
1) Touchpad was erratic in some cases. Sometimes it was very small jumps, nothing too bad. However in other cases, especially when the mouse was hovering over the "Samsung Settings" window, it was very very slow. Like something was delaying it. To solve this issue I tried finding the touchpad drivers, but after thorough search and chatting with Samsung Support I discovered the Win10 drivers are not released yet. I downloaded the ELAN drivers from a different model as per Live Chat suggestion, installed them, but issue was still there and no "ELAN" tab was showing in Device Manager. Solution to erratic motion was to do a Samsung Recovery to factory settings and re-install all my programs; then mouse seems to work ok (however note: there are still no touchpad drivers or "ELAN" tab in the "Mouse properties" window). It is not a critical thing but was an inconvenience to reinstall everything again.
2) The metal "frame" surrounding the screen, on its bottom side, is a bit bent. I mean, it has some small gap between the screen and the metal in some locations. Like a tiny "ripple", with the metal not properly glued to the screen. When touched by finger, the metal bends slightly. It is not critical, but it does not give a quality feeling. I hope the ripple does not get worse.

Overall is a very nice laptop and very responsive, fast, amazingly thin and light. Only the two issues reported above.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, Built-in speakers, latest 6th gen i7 very fast
Cons: no touchpad drivers, bottom of screen metal frame shows tiny ripple
I would recommend this to a friend!

My Second Laptop

This is the second laptop I've owned, and I like it a lot. The speakers are really great, almost like I have a second speaker, and it's very lightweight. Coming from a computer that had very poor battery life, this is excellent because I can take it to class and I won't have to be afraid it will die on me. The fact that it can lie 180 degrees flat is something of a useless feature, but I'm sure I'll find some use eventually.
