Tracks all workout activity. Works well as a speaker phone when my phone isn't within reach. Lots of great features. Battery life is great. You can go 2 days without a charge with normal use. If your looking for a watch that looks like a watch this is it.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Built-in speakers

What a great watch

This is my first smart watch. I have had this less than a week and can not get over how great it looks and feels on my wrist.
There is a learning curve to get going. The quick start guide is great. Downloading the user manual was a little frustrating but after that the setup went quickly.
The sound quality of phone calls is excellent . I thought reading messages would be a little difficult , but I was wrong it is very easy.
All in all this isva great product with two exception . 1. The band could be a little bigger can only go to the third slot. 2. I wish it was supported on Verizon .
I would definitely recommend this to everyone .

Great design, well thought out features

Really like the watch. Even with phone service the battery lasts a bit over a day. The sleep tracker and the activity tracker works great. The navigation is well thought out, and have found some nice apps that fix some short comings.
The speaker is not very loud so it can be hard to talk on the phone with background noise
Also wish I could set up email accounts on the watch. Currently the watch only shows notifications from the phone, so if you're out of range you don't get emails. I have the LTE version and it really needs the ability to receive emails directly to the watch

Cons: more apps for the lte version that don't need phon

Best wearable on the market at this time

I am a gadget person so I watch and read reviews all the time. I, like most people can’t afford most of the gadgets I would love to own. But some things are worth the wait and expense to acquire. I have been looking at wearables i.e. smart watches for a long time. The only wearable that makes sense to me is a smart watch. I am not into the Apple ecosystem or the square form factor. I want my smart watch to work in conjunction with my android phone. What do I mean? I don’t want to have to pay for an additional sim card. I want to be able to see all notifications from my phone on my watch. I want to be able to reply from my watch. I want to do this in an abbreviated way. I don’t want to type paragraphs of text as a reply that’s why I have a phone. I like the fact that I can answer a phone call from my watch. I wouldn’t use this function very often but in certain circumstances this is very helpful. So my options came down to Android wear, some Chinese operation system, or Tizen operating system. The Chinese system is a no go for me. Android system is to buggy for me. I don’t own a Samsung phone so I had to decide if the Tizen system would work for me. The Samsung Gear S3 to me is the best looking and the rotating bezel is golden. I am happy with my decision to go with the S3. I would be VERY HAPPY if the S3 worked with more function on my android phone. I know Samsung is invested in selling things that are Samsung made, but if the S3 worked seamlessly with all android phones their market would be that much larger. Samsung makes a great phone but I have never owned one of their phones and there are millions of us out there. So I would like to see more functionality with the android system and a tap function between the two function buttons for an enter action. What I mean is that similar to the tickle function make it a tap on the watch case for enter. This would be so I don’t have to touch the watch face to select the function. I would still want the touch screen on the watch. So I like my S3 and would recommend it to everyone. The best option on the market at this time.

Cons: needs more functionality with android

Bought this watch for my husband and he loves it. It's really nice. The face is perfect size for my husband. I was afraid it would be to big but it's the same size as his other watch. He would recommend it for anyone.

Watch Band

The watch band is to small? The buckle half of the band is the same size for both small and large, it's about 12mm to short. I had to purchase a new band for my new watch right from the start. Samsung should offer a XL band to cover everybody. I can't even find an OEM extra long band from Samsung.

Cons: small watch band
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
