Love the watch. Icons need to be more appealing and Needs to have a fingerprint sensor to unlock and for Samsung pay.
Samsung Pay works very well. No issues at all. Easily the best feature for me.
Pros: Bright display, Durable
Cons: needs a fingerprint sensor

I've owned a few lesser smartwatches, but this gear lives up to its reputation. Dependable and sturdy. Has the ability to connect to my known Wi-Fi networks when Bluetooth is disconnected. Starting to love ownership.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Lightweight, Built-in speakers
Cons: don't really care for the included strap material

A watch with a few bells-n-wistles

Over all this is a good watch... I haven't worn a watch for over 7+ years. I ended up just using my Cell as my watch, as well as for everything else. My initial fear was that it would be too heavy and cumbersome, but fter wearing it for a few weeks, it actually has a great feel to it. I even liked the strap that it came with. Now the watch and its features, for the amount of money you pay for these Smart-watches, it is limited. (My opinion) I've attempted to add a few things and a good amount of these apps rely on your Phone being within proximity and having the companion app on it as well. Heck if I have to keep going back to my Cell, then why use the Smart-watch. I'm still fidgeting with it so we will see what happens. As soon as the weather gets better I will be testing the GPS and Golf functionality as well. If the GOLF app works good, then I will be a happy camper.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight, Built-in speakers
Cons: Did not meet expectations, not enough apps

Excellent built, features, and battery life

This is now my daily watch and I use it for up to 4 days without recharging. I have the version without LTE, but it is set up with WiFi and Bluetooth and so on.
It is stylish and I love the bezel navigation. This is the number one feature compared to watches with swipe/touch interfaces only (even much better than the Digital Crowns from others).
Only negative is the Gear S implementation on iOS. However, I use both Android and iOS daily, so not necessarily a big issue. However, if it was better integrated with the Apple Health app I would give it a 5 star rating.
Unfortunately my Note 7 never arrived so I did not get to do the Samsung experience all the way. Hoping for a Note 8 to give it a try.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, battery life on one charge, bezel navigation, sporty style
Cons: ios integration

Just purchased this Gear S3 Frontier, and is very impress with its features and look. This is my first venture into the smartwatch category so i didn't know what to expect. The first thing which was helpful, was how easy it was to set up. Once i turned it on, it immediately recognized my phone and not only paired it, but setup all the features with it. In my line of work, you can't use your phone while at your workstation , so having the ability to receive texts messages thru the watch is great without having to step away. I have not jumped into all the features this watch has to offer ,but i'm looking forward to enjoying many of them. Will report back as i learn the many benefits of owning this watch.

Best smart watch ever!!!!

To start things off i have done so much research on my devices. and i chose the gear s3 frontier Bluetooth version because i am always on my phone or with my phone 90% of the time and the 10% is when i am sleeping. This watch battery life lasts me 2 day with display always on if i use it for basic things text calls standard things. that said the design of the watch is truly high quality the spinning bezel is my favorite part of the watch simply because i don't really have to touch the screen when searching through the watch instead of twisting a small knob on the side of it. Samsung pay works like a charm but i wish it didn't make me register my card on two different locations to get it to work. other than that i great watch!!!

Napster app is not available in the gear menu even though it is supported through bluetooth stream. Can't send bluetooth files from phone to gear. Hard to get standalone music on the gear. I do a lot of outdoor activities and don't want to carry my big cell phone around 2nd the gear's sound quality is amazing. It is more rugged than its predecessor the gear 2. A camera would be a nice feature to add. Mainly connectivity like sending files would be cool
