Had the s2. Got the s3 two weeks ago. Wear it everyday. Luv it. Much better than S2. Watch band is much more durable. Face resolution brighter. Dial larger. Quality product. I'm on T-Mobile system.

Great Smartwatch

In purchasing a smart watch, battery life was the most important feature to me. I'm a bit disappointed with S-Voice, but the rest of the features of the watch and the ease of accessing apps make up for it.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Built-in speakers

Its so far the best of the smartwatch out their. i get a lot of good comments on it from friends, Family and event from people that i don't know. i recommend it. get it don't wait.

I love my new Gear S3 - almost

I love my new Gear S3 - almost. I have waited for over two years to get any type of fitness watch because none seemed to be good enough. I love the mobile connection with this watch so I can go away from my phone and still get calls/texts. I may not answer them at the time, but at least I know if someone is trying to reach me.
Biggest con is the Samsung Pay - I was really excited to use this feature until I found out the watch had to have a lock screen with a pin in order to use it. So anytime I want to check a notification, return a quick text, setup my workout I would have to enter a pin. It needs to only require the Pin to use Samsung Pay, not to unlock the watch. Or maybe detect if the watch is on the wrist or not. If its not on the wrist then require the lock screen to do anything.

The design is amazing, and the size is perfect for the display that it packs. Everything runs smoothly on it and the always on display is an incredible feature, my absolute favorite part of the watch. The way the buttons and the bezel click is really nice. Speaking of the bezel, mine will rotate to a point and get difficult to rotate, not sure if this is happening to anyone else but it shouldn't be. Also the textured rotating bezel can scratch, so keep that in mind. Everything else about the watch is amazing though. Job well done Samsung

Live this watch. The samsung pay feature is amazing use it more then a card. The speaker is loud and mic picks me up perfect on calls.

Not what I was hoping for.....

I was going for more apps. I wanted more diversity, and the ability to personalize more. I haven't swam with it yet. Hopefully, at least that won't be disappointing. It's responsive, beautiful design. Comes with a black band that you can go in the water with (in case anyone needed to know, like I did). It doesn't give you a daily log of sleep, like the s2 did. Also, it would be nice to have access to more ringtones and notification sounds. It does last longer....but I don't agree with three days, and it charges quickly.
Pros: Bright display, stylish sporty ...yet elegant.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, not enough apps can't add sounds for notificatio

I have never used any wearable tech before I got the Gear S3. I initially thought it was going to be uncomfortable because I once borrowed a smartwatch from a friend and I was not overall impressed. The reason I bought it was because it had GPS and I wanted to track runs and hikes and so on.
It ended up being lighter and thinner than I thought and I keep discovering new things it can do every day.
I have had it a few weeks now and I'm still excited to put it on every morning. It is amazing.
If you are looking for a smartwatch that is completely independant and all-around useful then you'll like this. You won't be disappointed.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Lightweight, Built-in speakers, so many apps. incredibly useful!, easy to use. awesome ui (user interface)!
