Love this watch so much. Everything about it is what I wanted out of a smart watche. The only thing is that I wish it had more watch faces other then me going to the app store to get it, wish I can swim with the watch instead of just the water and dust-resistant features, and also speaker needs to be just a little bit louder. Other then them little bit of things this is all time the best watch in the world. Thanks Samsung
Previously, I owned the 1st Gen Moto 360, so my opinions are totally based on a comparison between the two products.
I love that this watch connects directly with my S Health app, so it's easy to see my challenges and goals. My husband and I both have Samsung Galaxy phones (the S6 and S7) and the Gear S3 Frontier, and it's perfect when we're competing for steps. The heart rate monitor has some trouble reading my heart rate, but my Moto 360 did too, so it might be my tattoos causing issues.
I've never had a watch that I can use independently from my phone, so the features where I can text and call without my phones are useful. The speaker and the mic seem to work well, and the mic seems to be able to weed out background noise (including the music in my car).
The display is bright and beautiful. I have several watchfaces, including a view of Earth, and the face is clear and easy to read.
The biggest con is that you can only obtain watchfaces and apps through the Samsung market (I believe it's because it runs on the Tizen platform?), which really limits your options. With my Moto 360, I could use apps, like Facer and Watchmaker, to create my own watchfaces, but I can't do that with my S3. Also, I used to have a ton of apps, including silly ones that would help me calculate tips, but there's not many on the Samsung market.
Overall, it's a great watch with good features, so I would definitely recommend it.
Gear S3 screen is clear and bright. Looks like a regular analog watch on my wrist. Controls are simple and intuitive with the rotating dial bezel. Auto heart rate check is just what I need. Sleep recording starts all by itself. No need to start the app. Battery last 24 hours + eve with screen always on. Speaker and Mike are loud and clear. Very usable to answer calls on the wrist when not convenient to pull out phone. Best wearable out on the market and I love mine!
I can't say enough good things about this watch . I use it every single day and it's very reliable. I use Samsung pay daily. It amazes everyone including businesses. It looks great and feels great. I use it as a standalone watch connected to the LTE network. I get a full day's use out of it with a little bit of battery to spare.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Built-in speakers, reliable, addictive i never want to take it off
Cons: cost
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have owned all three variations of the gear series. This absolutely is my favorite. The battery life is amazing. Samsung Pay works flawless. The design of the watch is superior. If you are into gadgets, this watch is definitely a must have this Christmas.
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers, battery life

Literally can wear for 2 days without charge. Great watch. Very comfortable
First I would like to start out by saying that it was a hassle getting this smartwatch. It was backordered and sold out everywhere but I managed to buy one the week it was released.
The design of the watch is what first caught my eye. It is very fashionable unlike many other smartwatches in the market and the face size is much bigger than the Gear S2 (which was the biggest selling point for me).
The bezel makes using the watch very easy and user friendly. The silicon wristband is comfortable enough but I plan on trying the leather ones to see if they are any different. My only real complaint about the silicon is that when I am sweating while wearing the watch it tends to get slightly uncomfortable.
The battery life has been great so far. I have been charging it every night but after a full day of use, it only drops to about 85% battery life. So I'm guessing I can go a few days without having to charge it. The charger is also great. Small and stays magnetically connected to the watch.
My only real complaint so far is that it could catch up on some of the apps available for it. I use the Samsung Mobile Pay easily but would like to see other apps I use frequently such as the Nike+ Running App rather than using the Samsung Health App and it could use the Starbucks App.
