Really could get used to this

I have had this watch for few days now but I like it. Alot of the reviews I read about this watch originally were negative. I think people have too many expectations when it comes to this watch. I will agree there could be more apps for it. But other than that I'm not looking for this watch to do everything my note 8 currently does already.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Lightweight, Built-in speakers

Great Watch and First smartwatch!

love this watch just got it little over a week ago very stylish lot of great features excellent battery life. it took me a little getting used to at First but other than that been quite happy with it.one thing I found that needs a little Improvement that it needs 5.0 Bluetooth along with the icon x ear buds reason being the note 9 which I have and the S9 and the S9 plus all have 5.0 Bluetooth

I bought my Gear S3 Frontier from Samsung's website a year and a half ago. It was my first smart watch. I have been extremely pleased from the first day I put it on and I am still in love with it. It has awesome battery life and it can do so much. My favorite thing about my watch is using Samsung Health. It keeps me on track to a better, healthier lifestyle. I could go on and on about the different watch faces, the changeable watch bands and all of the different things my watch can do but I will try to contain myself. I've had NO troubles with it at all and would highly recommend this product. When and if my watch needs to be replaced, I will definitely get another one just like this one from Samsung again!!

I kept see this watch on the web so the price was wright so went for it wow i had no idea it did all this just a extension of my phone plus very happy with my S3 frontier nice job Samsung well done

Samsung Gear S3 Frontier- built for the Frontier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This watch has it all! First it looks like a rugged timepiece, with a big bright display, even outdoors, and a rotating bezel that controls everything (yes you can swipe thru the screens). The Tizen operating system is smooth. Fitness tracker, GPS, Notifications, Heart Rate Monitor, Altimeter/Barometer, Samsung Pay, Sleep tracker, Swappable Watchbands and wireless charging. Connection via Bluetooth, WIFI, and on some models LTE (the watch becomes a phone). I have the Bluetooth/WIFI model, and with the phone close by you can still answer calls. The call sound quaility is quite good.
The watch's name is "Frontier" and that's where we’ve gone. Hikes using the GPS, bike rides using the fitness tracker and GPS. With the watch's IP68 waterproof rating, no sweat worries. But I still wouldn’t take it swimming. The watch can record as a standalone device, so you can leave the phone in the car. Or pair with a Bluetooth Headset and listen to music wherever. One crucial safety feature is SOS messaging from the watch. Using the S Gear app, set an emergency contact and by pressing the S3’s home button 3 times, it sends a message with your location, allowing that person to track you for an hour. A little peace of mind if you’re out alone!
Samsung Pay from your Watch= Amazing! Long press the back button on the Watch and your Cards appear. Tap the watch on the card terminal and you are good to go!
I have the Gear S3 paired with a Samsung S7 Egde, running Android Nougat (must be Android 4.0 or higher).
Battery life is impressive. With everything on, the battery lasts 2.5 to 3 days! And when the Gear S3 finally runs out of juice, just drop it on the magnetic wireless charger.

Samsung mixes sleek design with integrated functionality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is awesome to see how far Samsung has come in the wearables game. Back when I had the S5, I got the Gear Fit which was great, but after a few months went the way of most wearables...I began to forget to charge it and then left it at home and would occasionally pick it back up and wear it again for a week or two.
While the device was great and made me appreciate my Galaxy phone, even more, the functionality was limited. When the Frontier came out, I began researching it, to see if I would once again invest in a wearable device. I am so glad I did.
This is absolutely the greatest smart watch on the market.I have a lot of friends who are loyal to other brands, and without fail every single one of them is jealous of my watch.
Samsung has been able to take wearable technology and make it integrated technology. I can't imagine going a day or even a few hours without my watch.
I love Samsung Pay, and the watch can handle electronic payments quickly and flawlessly. Making calls on the phone is also easy (and much safer when driving), and they are crystal clear.
The activity trackers are incredibly accurate. I love the little nudge when I have been inactive for an hour at work. I also kept a sleep log and matched it against my watch, and it was precise without ever having to manually start tracking (which I always forgot to do with other wearable devices).
If you are even slightly on the fence about getting a smart watch, get this watch, you will not be disappointed. Thank you, Samsung!

Sound volume set to zero and just to be sure, with "Do not disturb" mode activated, SHealth voice assistance keep loudly ? inform about progress of the ongoing activity.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

best smart watch

I have been using this product since it first launched. I hear people say it's big and heavy. but after your first day of using it, the size and weight really grows on you. every one that sees it on my wrist ask what kind is it. I have not had any issue with battery life (3 days) for me.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Built-in speakers
